I love how they offer material to help get you started in this industry, and how they provide a mentor. I live my mentor, she is the best!! I would like to get calls from the people who brought me in more often, to make sure everything is going as expected. Stay on course and you'll be successful!

eXp offers an abundance of free training. They allow you to work as little as you want without pressure. There is always someone to answer any questions you have. The rev share is exceptional as well. I have had two mentors. My first one was exceptional, unfortunately she chose to leave eXp for another broker before my third transaction. My second mentor has done very little to help me generate new business. I have very little funds to market with no sales.

The agent to agent support is by far my favorite part. I like that eXp is centered round a system that encourages the sharing of resources and information. When you win I win. I like the global reach and the ability to reach someone in any market if needed.

I will say that I'm still having some sticky aspects for onboarding agents. It’s little technical glitches mostly, but much better. I wish, based on the market, that eXp wouldn’t charge agents for Leases. I do miss having face to face communications, so more of that would be welcome with some tech transfers and for TCs. I'll also note that that I continue to watch the boards and posts for agents who can give me insights into agent attraction. I’m still having trouble rebutting the old narratives about eXp out there and building any kind of Downline.

The multiple streams of income was what attracted me to this model. It’s been life changing. What we didn’t realize was the collaboration that came from it. Everyone at this company is so willing to assist others within the company since we all are owners. That’s been the most unexpected blessing to us. The only negative would be having access to staff via phone and not just eXp world. Being very productive means you aren’t always by a computer. Some issues require a more urgent phone call. Also, a more detailed progress system for people Onboarding. Some new agents feel very lost at the beginning. But there’s no other model like this out there. Highly recommend!

I love the versatility, functionality, and collaboration offered with eXp Realty. The team approach that I felt as a new agent has built up my confidence and motivated me to continue and pursue my goals in Real Estate. I also like the fact that the brokerage is offered virtually, thus allowing for flexibility and freedom to choose your own office space anytime, anywhere. The plethora of trainings offered in the world is also an absolute plus! EXP has honestly changed my life. I never thought I would have the support I have as a new agent that I receive with eXp. Everyone is always willing to share tips, tricks, and advice whenever we have questions. It feels like family more than anything!

The accessibility of the company makes it simple to get assistance and there is such a big variety and community that comes with the company that makes it possible to create genuine relationships with colleagues. I would like to see more options to give feedback. I would like to see an option to just have accountability in the world. Or more meetings that way.

The other thing I'll say is that you should make sure you enjoy working remotely before considering an online brokerage.

eXP Realty makes it easy to do real estate from anywhere. I have a very busy schedule and I travel a lot, but no matter where I go I can get work done quickly and easily. I can spend time with my family and I don't have to leave the house to attend a company meeting. There are lots of resources to help you along the way and in my experience, brokers and support staff are always ready to assist. That being said, the company is too political in an attempt to demonstrate their diversity. People's sexual orientation should not be promoted by the company or be put on display for everyone to see.

eXp Realty gives agents the opportunity to grow their own business the way they want to. They provide the resources to make you successful but it's up to you to do the work and become a success. Agency costs are low which helps if you have a slow month and the split is great if you have a successful month.

My mentor was awesome. They give you a list of a couple of names for you to call and make sure you get along. That helped so I wasn’t just stuck with someone random that I didn’t click with. Low fees are a plus and higher commission split than most companies. The online virtual world is really cool too. Gives you an office feel while working from home. I logged in several times to ask important questions to my broker and get answers ASAP. You talk real time so it’s not chat or waiting around. It feels very close to being in an office.

But it can feel a little “recruit” oriented due to the rev share part. It also had very limited resources.. there are daily trainings but it’s just a flood of trainings. Often times the trainings are not super relevant to what I felt we needed to be learning. No leads given… you have to pay for the make it rain lead program that I was told about when I chose eXp.

It's a really great company overall, just know yourself as a person. You have to be super goal oriented and a self learner to succeed in this role. Nobody is watching you work from home or giving you leads. As a newer agent, it can be overwhelming but with a good mentor it’s worth it.

eXp Realty is an excellent company. The commissions are great, but you have to be on your toes. You can't have a lot of hand holding, and you have to be independent. I am not involved with eXp World because I'm a technologically challenged person, so I tried to stick with the basics.

Brokers are readily available. Classes for any topic are readily available. There are great “live” university classes provided weekly and they are recorded in case Agents can’t attend. They are also always willing to take questions.
There is always someone available to answer my questions in the university office who are very helpful. Anyone in the university office that might not know the answer to my question has always helped me search out the right person to find that answer. I am very thankful for that.

1)After a transaction is done, the accounting summary sheet of earnings to me and fees due to to Exp is very confusing.
2)It would be great to know who the #2 or #3 person is I can talk to when I have an immediate question that needs answering, it’s after hours but still early evening and I can’t reach anyone through Workplace chat.

This is a great company to work for. They are constantly working through issues that the agents bring to their attention.

I love the training that are offered on a weekly basis. I love the eXp world where we can get questions answered. I absolutely love how we get paid right away when we turn in our documents on time. Some brokers in the eXp world are very helpful, but I have had a bad experience with some online, where they don’t help the way I would expect them to, but there is always someone there to help regardless.

Everyone is so helpful at eXp! Definitely love this company and the eXp culture.

I have just sold my home through eXp Realty and had the most amazing experience. I couldn't recommend anyone higher than Robert Burch, who hand my hand through the whole process. We listed my home the week before Thanksgiving and I was never apprehensive about it selling quickly. He told me not to be anxious, that after Thanksgiving passed, I would have people looking and that it would sell quickly. Well, he couldn't have been more accurate. i had a buyer look at my house the Saturday after Thanksgiving and put an offer on it the next day. I accepted the offer on Monday. The inspector came the following week and we closed the following Monday! I moved the very next Wednesday, 2 days later. Robert stood by me every step of the way, reassuring me, and offering me advice when I asked him for it. He was compassionate about his work, keeping me informed, and calm throughout the whole process. He reassured me when I was anxious and I needed it because I was alone. I could not have asked for a better qualified realtor or agent to help me in this tremendous time of need, Thank you Robert for being with me and reassuring me every step of the way. Teresa Buoch, Fayetteville GA

I have nothing that I would have done differently. I had an angel by my side and his name was Robert Burch!

You need to take lessons from this man in listening to others and feeling their struggles.

It was great while connected there as an agent, but once you leave and need something, heaven help you.

When/if you leave and they continue to take the $85 out of your account, good luck trying to get anyone to talk to. I finally looked up my onboarding paperwork and even then I was given email addresses with no phone numbers. Still have not gotten my or my husband’s fees refunded. It was amazing to me with the amount of tech “savvyness” if you aren’t connected to “the world” it is hard if not almost impossible to speak to a human. We could not even get our former broker to call us.

There is nothing else I would like to share. It was great while an agent, but hard at ALL times to speak to a real person unless connected to eXp world..

I love that they cover all 50 states and other countries. Tools are pretty easy to use. Payment of commission is sent efficiently. You can sponsor other agents and not have to be a Broker. Shares are a major plus (agent ownership). My sponsor and team are amazing! Could provide better training information to desk agents in EXP World to answer more specific concerns or questions. Make sure you have the budget to keep MLS membership active. Top producers are highly praised. We have a large network of agents marketing to each other. Use all of your tools you pay for at EXP.

The education and training is amazing, the room to make different moves in the industry and not being put in a box is also a plus.

But eXp could use better onboarding for newer agents. I’ve seen a lot of brand new agents that sign up for exp struggle with the process. New agents need a better understanding that no one is going to make you do something, you have to have some kind of accountability for your self. I started a mini onboarding process for the agents that come in under me and right now it’s working well.

If your a self starter and have the drive to be successful along with having an open mind and learning from the people around you, eXp is definitely the place for you! I absolutely love it and it’s given me the freedom to explore other avenues of revenue within the industry.

I’ve really enjoyed the cloud based brokerage and all of the training that’s easily accessible. My family of agents have been absolutely amazing too! I’d highly recommend eXp to any agents - everyone is wonderful and the brokerage is incredibly forward thinking!

The eXp World program was completely inaccessible for me, so I was unable to attend the training I wanted. I haven’t tried it since, so that could use some work.

Working from home is great, and the ability to learn at your own pace is also appreciated. You are able to communicate with someone fast if you need them, and all the training they have on a daily basis is nice.

They could maybe give a better guide to new agents on how things are going to start and where to find everything. Exp could feel overwhelming at first but once you are set up it’s easier.

I just like that there are so many opportunities with eXp and I like eXP World. I've done some training, and that's another aspect that I like about it. I have been a realtor for five years, so I don't attend the training as much as I used to. But what I love about it is that if I have a question, it's so easy to go into the world and go to the department I need to get help from and get helped. The splits are also good, and I certainly like being able to get stocks. I don't use KVcore because I generate my own leads.

You know I have not spent that much time in the cloud lately because I’m getting the house ready to list that’s in the state and I’ve been doing the work on it to see my client who is my fraternity brother some money so I don’t really know but you’ve definitely hired some great coaches.

If you need help ask if you’re overwhelmed ask I just brought somebody in the fold even though he has a different mentor I told him don’t be shy and im still here then I’m going to have him do my open houses and be here to see what he does good in bad since he hasn’t sold anything

Made Icon agent quickly and pretty much received my cap back through stock. Also, like that we as agents seem to keep more of our money than a brokerage.

They need to improve on getting our CDA’s out on time and also it’s not the agents responsibility to track down from the title company the copies of the signed HUD and eXp portion for commission. We are busy and don’t have time to do others jobs.

This is a great brokerage from the virtual learning, stock options, advantage to have health insurance. This is not a brokerage that will hand out leads to you. You need to treat this as a true business and kick butt in providing your own leads.

I think the best part is that the agents are the owners, and I also like the CMA that I have available and the training. I really love the training. Before Covid 19, we would have trained with our supervisors every week. It's probably one of my favorite parts about eXp. The virtual world is also great. Whenever I need support, I get it immediately every time. Lastly, profit-sharing is incredible.

I think for highly active and experienced agents its a no brainer. Because of the profit sharing and knowing a lot of other agents you will build a big monthly income outside the normal sales commission.
But for beginner agents there is no guidance and your paying a high price for no daily support. I am leaving for a while and coming back in the future when I can see Icon level results.

For new agents, get with a local broker that has a team so you can learn to fish. You may not make a lot but you will learn how make so much in the future.

The great thing about it is that it has multiple sources of revenue. The commission splits are very fair, and it's the least expensive compared to other brokerages. The reason why I went with eXp is that they have everything in the cloud, which the world is moving towards. I think eXp has good support and great benefits. But, I do think they need a little bit more support, but I understand that because they're growing so rapidly that it's hard to keep up.

I think the best part is networking. The revenue sharing is there, and then also, the more people I get, the better the income is. I think the fees and the split are too much, especially the first year when I started. I haven't been producing for six months, and I know now the market is picking up, but if I don't catch up on it, I could lose all the splits. The support is good, though.

At eXp, there's a lot of opportunity for passive income. If you're a new agent, I don't recommend it, but if you've been in the business for at least a year or two, then I would definitely recommend it for the network and the passive income aspect of it. The training is pretty good if you've been in the business for a while, but new agents will need a lot of hand holding. That being said, new agents are paired with a mentor, which I think is really helpful.

I think the fees a little high, but it's okay for not having an office or office-based stuff. That's the only complaint I have, but I like doing everything online, and I don't have to go through the hassle of finding a suitable office space. So it is what it is. eXp World is okay, but I'm not really good at it...I honestly haven't done it since I joined eXp.

eXp has been great so far. The revenue share program is the best part, and it works well for my business. As far as leads go, I just started using kvCORE, and I'm not super immersed in it yet, but I like the idea of it. There's also a revenue share program, and there is insurance available. I think the fees and the splits are fair. Overall, eXp makes me feel supported.

I really like the fact that they have a lot of tools that they provide to the agents and all of the training classes, they are all very helpful. They have a commission split of 80/20 and have an $85 monthly fee, which is great considering all the tools they provide! The only issue they have is trying to get a hold of anybody when you have questions or need assistance. I have some forms that I have been trying to get signed for a month, and I can't get a hold of anybody!

I went to my last brokerage because they had the best split in the area and tried to simulate what Exp was doing and failed on all levels. It was an 80/20 split paying this same $85 fee, and same E&O. We had to input our own paperwork like we do on skyslope. I didn't get half the support I get at Exp. The old brokerage did not include digital signatures, I had to pay for that separately. My partner and I were primarily listing agents and contributed the bulk of the business from the time we onboarded till the time we left. It was frustrating competing with the owner broker on all levels not getting any of our own leads or finding out they were rerouted in secrecy by the broker. This was a terrible 4 year experience. When we recruited agents we had to try and track their closing activity in order to get paid which is nearly impossible especially when your producing yourself. Promises are no good if you dont have a system in place to track these things. Small brokerages struggle financially and cant compete.

Fast forward, I'm getting all the rewards for my personal work and the people I help without having to hunt down someone to get paid. I like the higher commission splits, revenue share, no franchise fees and stock options. Coming from an independent boutique agency where you see a lot of break down in communication and poor systems in place this system seems pretty streamlined and straight forward. I got into real estate in 2003 before technology was a big necessity so its been a transition. Going to a virtual world for help was odd in the beginning but I've got used to it. Some people have a hard time with change. I understood the old school ground work and now have a great referral business so I didn't have issues with learning how to market myself like newer agents. I do see where it is more beneficial to have your sponsor local for those really needing the one on one training which is crucial in the beginning. When I knew I needed something different I considered opening my own office since I had a brokers license. I weighed all options and did my research before making a rushed decision putting my license with another brokerage. After evaluating the pros and cons of working as an independent broker I I felt that Exp had more to offer, a larger financial return and less liability. So far no regrets.

Technology has been a game changer. Being newer to Exp I haven't encountered many issues compared to past situations at smaller independent agencies I've been with before. I notice the compliance department really watch contracts and have taught me things my former brokerages weren't doing and may not have even known to. I wish I knew a way to transfer my contracts easier from formsrus to digisign. If they were listed in the dropdown menu that would be wonderful.

Depending on where you are in your career and how long you've been licensed choosing the right sponsor for you is super important. I was blessed as a new agent with lots of training and thought that was normal anywhere you went. Later talking to other newer agents who went with other companies you would hear how discouraged they were because they felt like another number in the company or the broker was to busy for them. I had the opportunity to help with new agent mentoring & training at a former company. No two agents are alike. Your sponsor needs to be able to adjust to the needs of the people they bring on because they will be calling your first when they cant figure something out before they call the managing broker. Before picking your sponsor do your research. Interview other companies and sponsors. Make a list of your needs which are always different for each person. If you are a veteran agent your skill level will be different and usually they already have a system working for them and are only looking to enhance it unlike someone new. Go with someone who genuinely cares about your success.

I have been with eXp just over a year, and prior to this was with a few other brokerages. eXp is the first place I've landed where I had complete freedom to make my own schedule, decide for myself which training classes to attend, set up my own website, do things at my own pace, choose my own daily activities, and not have to meet anyone else's expectations. It's perfect if you are trying to juggle two careers, or being a parent, or if you want to be a part-time agent without being told you're going to fail if you can't go full-time. You chart your own course at eXp. And the technology is amazing because you have everything you need at your fingertips, right there from your home computer. Even speaking to a broker is as easy as a few clicks of your mouse.

However, not everyone wants this much freedom, especially as a brand new agent. If you want someone to tell you what to do each day, it's not going to be a good fit. You have to be proactive in learning all the different tools and resources which are available to you, and then making use of them. You have to be proactive in asking for help when you need it, and speaking up when you have a question, and if one person isn't helpful then moving on and asking someone else. It's going to feel scary and uncomfortable for a while, and you have to motivate yourself to keep going.

I'd just add it's a complete myth that eXp agents are pressured to recruit other agents. If you choose to do recruiting, you can potentially make extra money this way, but if you choose not to do so then it's perfectly fine. I have been here 13 months and never done any recruiting whatsoever.

I really like their extensive training, easy office access, and they also have a lot of agents that are eager for success. Reasons to join is because they are an agent-based brokerage, you can gain stocks within the company, and you can get your commission split back with the different revenue opportunities they provide. It's not a pyramid scheme, but a lot of people call it that, but it's a revenue share program, and it helps us agents gain an extra income, which is great. Who doesn't want to make extra money?!

The master minds at exp are my favorite part of working for the company. Top-notch professionals sharing their best results with each other so we can all grow.

For the most part EXP is growing in the right direction from what I can see. No brokerage is perfect, but I’d rather get a smaller slice of a huge, continuously growing pie, then a bigger slice of a smaller pie.

I love the help I get from the brokers at eXp! I was hesitant to sign up with an online brokerage at first because, as a new agent, I need one-on-one guidance more often than a seasoned agent does. I had no idea how in-touch eXp Realty could be… but they are… I am surrounded with more help and support than I know what to do with, any time I need it!

If you’re looking for a brokerage that treats you like family no matter where you are, look no further than eXp Realty!! And, if you want to create a real financially sound future as a real estate agent, then DEFINITELY look no further than eXp Realty. As much as they try, other brokerages just can’t replicate the kind of environment that eXp has created!

I love the virtual training with easy access to get questions answered and needed training. Residual income with stock options is also a nice perk.

But I have never understood why we pay a monthly fee. Many other realty companies offer Opcity leads and KVcore and only charge a transaction fee. With no brick and mortar offices this is a huge question mark that keeps me from recruiting new agents. This definitely needs to be changed!

I like that there aren’t a lot of fees monthly. It was very easy to join. I’ve learned how to maneuver into training and the process of posting questions is easy and you usually get several answers.

But, I will say it was very difficult getting started because the concierge person was changing positions during that time, so I received very little assistance and it took a long time to get questions answered.

Also it would be great to have all the necessary links sent to new agents. It is still confusing to me. I still haven’t gotten an answer about what to use as an address for a website. The online concept is great. Just wish I could talk to someone when needed.

I love everything about eXp! I can’t see me ever leaving to be part of another brokerage! This company is pioneering the way in Real Estate, and I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of something great! Our insane growth is living proof that we’re doing things right, and this validates that we’re developing in ways other companies aren’t. From the stock program, and multiple ways to increase your income, eXp is the only place for me! If your looking for a place to grow, eXp is a great place to call home!

Every agent that sells a house in another state, all of the 5% of everybody's commission goes into the stock plan. We're growing fast, and our stocks are increasing every day. So we have a 401k that's like a residual income.

We also can bring in people from other states. If I have somebody that lives in Michigan, and I signed him up under me in eXp, the company pays me 3% of whatever their commission is.

The brokerage is a cloud-based brokerage. The support is good, and it's all in the cloud. We could also reach out directly to our broker for the state, and our training is wonderful. I mean, there are maybe five to seven hundred trainings up in the cloud, in many different auditoriums.

EXP is worldwide, it is not only the United States, but also Australia and Canada.

We live in a world of personal interest and not about reality. All agents say eXp is excellent but it is not. Agents want to recruit and all eXp wants is the great name and to have a large number of agents. I have experience in the real estate area but I obtain the license this year and they require mentoring, from the mentoring program I did not receive a call, the agent never communicated until I did, then ask for a change of mentor and it has been two months. they are a disaster in structure and even grant Cardone seminars they have is olddddd.

I don't see a system that helps generate leads for new agent or you have money for marketing o no clients. Everyone is on their own, so for new agents, do not be convinced that exp is very bad training and the broker and agent want to have more agents. New agents need a guide to getting clients especially if they don't have family or friends in town. For the old agents it may be a good option if they want to live off the commissions of the new agents because since I entered I did not see anyone as a work team.

eXp needs to improve it's systems, communication, management, training and courses. Some agents are no good to be teachers.

Agents needs to be honest, talking about eXp. This year everyone was happy, but when the seller market change many agents will review their CV because it is not based on good training or good support…

What I like most about Exp is that there is always someone to help out. Also, they guide you with your business transactions and paperwork. Another big help is the mentor my mentor "Lea Arndt" has really helped me with transactions but also to think about what’s ahead for my clients.

I really don’t see too much to improve on but if I had to say one thing it would be how could I buy eXp tshirts or polos. I want to look more professional when I’m out about.

I’ve been very happy and satisfied with everything. Here in Texas, it’s been crazy but I love how everyone has been supportive from other agents to help out families that need a home.

I like the that it's a cloud based brokerage, kvcore, exp world. The cloud brokerage is a solid plus but you can only log on during operating hours. This can be a challenge and a very frustrating part of doing business on the cloud. Overall the process is good and can be easy to use once you get use to it.

Monthly technology fees are way too high, especially for what is provided and the fact that the brokerage takes 20%.

There are better option if don't think you will sell at least 12 homes. In order to reach the cap. Good for teams and realtors that have 3 or more years experience. Exp still takes a 20% cut from your referrals

The best parts are the revenue share, stock, split percentage, and the virtual world environment

Virtual is good for most things but feel like new agents might need a personal engagement in the beginning so it doesn’t feel so cold

Better vetting if mentors. I have not gone with one but have heard several other new agents changing mentors and giving up because Of who they were assigned. It seems most sign up for the additional $ but don’t want to actually mentor.

I like the workplace site and constant learning oops thru eXp world.

I do not recommend eXp realty for new agents at all. Read the reviews from NEW AGENTS and you will see many having the same frustrating experience I have now. eXp makes more sense for the more seasoned agents that already know what they are doing and want a higher split and better revenue share (eXp does revenue share instead of profit share like most of the traditional brokerage like Keller Williams).

If you are a brand new agent, I highly suggest you to join elsewhere. I joined eXp because they promised a mentorship program and "hundreds of hours of training". And I thought since I am a self-learner, this would be perfect. Now I am 50 days in, I can tell you neither is delivering. I wish I had read some of the reviews before joining.

The mentorship program is a disaster. I was assigned a mentor that would not show up to our pre-scheduled calls and when he did, he always seemed to have better things to do. When I asked him questions like what if appraisal comes in low, he would tell me "you ask too many questions". Then I requested a change of mentor. Instead of being assigned one, this time I want to take the time and interview some of them before making a decision. The mentorship program can only be reached via email and they would go days without responding. When they finally responded with a list of mentors available in my area, I contacted all 5 of them and only 1 got back to me. And that one said she doesn't do meetings, just phone calls when I am in contract. Now I have to ask for more mentors and it has been 5 days and they still have not responded.

Now let's talk about their "hundreds of hours training". Their on demand training calendar does have a class every hour, but most of them are fluff, not very concrete and definitely not for new agents. You see things like "how to have 1 million in sales". I am trying to have 1 sale here. Now, for the training library, I thought they would have a library full of searchable content like "how to run a comp analysis", "how to negotiate" basic questions like these. But nope, what you get is a workplace page with links to a vimeo page. You have to really dig and most of them are a bit outdated and not very helpful, very high level fluff. I honestly learned more from YouTube. So I really don't know what I am paying here.

In general I think a new agent absolutely needs a good mentor to succeed since eXp's training is not specific, not tailored to new agents, and the content isn't even searchable. However, the mentorship program is very chaotic and not organized well with many new agents complaining about their mentors and mentors complaining about their mentees. From the state meetings, eXp knows about this and is trying to make some changes in the coming year (2022). Until they get their act together, I do not recommend new agents joining eXp. The split for new agents is not even attractive. It is not 80/20 but 60/40 with 20 goes to mentors and 20 goes to university so you might as well get a quality education from the traditional brokerage. Also 80 split of nothing is nothing.

I like the 80/20 split option till cap, stock options, and training for new and seasoned agents. Team building/recruitment and ICON agent availability.

I do not care for the number of people involved in onboarding. After coming onto eXp realizing the luxury side is non-existent. In having the luxury to be built I was only given a percentage of the sales price due to it being considered a referral coming from the builder which reflected a lower sales volume. Communication to/with broker/manager to discuss potential issues on challenging transactions can be difficult to accomplish.

eXp offers wonderful options for agents especially seasoned agents wanting to grow their business.

The worst experience I've ever had with a brokerage. You receive absolutely no help or support. I was stood up multiple times by my broker when meetings were scheduled. After asking for help, some of my questions were ignored. I lost deals due to lack of communication on their part, don't expect any help on weekends either. My broker also refused to offer support and after bringing it to their attention; bad-mouthed me to others. They also tried to charge me for brokerage fees after I left the brokerage. Highly unprofessional with incompetent brokers.

I'm grateful for the low fees to hang my license at eXp Realty. I'm grateful for the training opportunities and the technological aspects of the brokerage.

I will say that information dissemination comes from too many avenues. Information is received from emails, from the workplace, from the world, from the brokers meetings, from in person events, and other avenues I haven't even remembered or am unaware. It's very hard to stay on top of what's happening at exp because the information flows through too many different channels.

Secondly, our state brokers and their corporate supervisors are highly resistant to change. Several suggestions have been made that would improve our agent culture. All of them were poo-pooed by either the state brokers or their corporate supervisors. If we want to truly compete with Realty Austin and Compass and Keller Williams, we have to improve our culture.

I would recommend you get to know each other in person. eXp Realty may be an online brokerage but real estate is a human game.

This is my first real estate company so i do not have other real estate offices to compare to. What i like is the another agents have been very helpful and the online help has been quick to respond back with answering questions.

Not sure if due to me being a new agent in my 60 or i just need more hands on person to person learning curve, but the avitar concept is still a little weird for me.

If you are a new agent in the industry, get on a team or sign up for a mentor to assist you on your 1st transactions. Also do not delay learning how to navigate through zipform for your contract transactions and SkySlope to stay on top of sending all paper work to exp and title company for commission payment. I waited till i had a customer and it was a pain trying to play catch up on what was needed.

eXp has tons of free training. Knowledgeable support. Best technology offered to agents for CRM, etc at a cost that almost feels free. I have not come across another brokerage that can offer more than eXp Realty to it’s agents. Not to mention, it is an agent - owned meaning you have the potential for passive income streams (many) that are not offered by other brokerages- and you do not have to “buy in” like some other newer brokerage models, so a brand new agent has the same opportunities as a successful veteran agent. eXp is the best place to be!

In the beginning, when I joined, I would have had a small list of improvements, but eXp is so dynamic and listens to agents and is constantly improving in every area- so now it would be hard for me to come up with anything. If I were to find something, they are probably already working on it. They are able to affect change efficiently and effectively..

If you are worried about it being a cloud based brokerage, don’t. We have virtual offices that are actually more efficient than traditional offices. Our state brokerage virtual offices are filled with highly knowledgeable Brokers to assist you within minutes. We also have a virtual tech outpost and many many other kinds of support offices you can access easily , even from you mobile devices if needed. It is the best place to be as a modern agent, bar none!

I love the training and the seminars with eXp. The free training online about almost everything in real estate helps you become a more knowledgeable agent. The 3 ways to get paid is awesome!

They could improve when an agent wants to be a mentor outside of their MLS they need to be knowledgeable about the new agent’s MLS to better assist them with their new Career. It takes away a lot of stress that comes with being new in Real Estate.

It’s better to pick a mentor that uses the same MLS. And don’t give up. eXp feels complicated to understand at first but it becomes easier the more free training online you take. It’s worth it.

Working with eXp now has made me honestly wish I was early on in my career and technology was easier for me bc what this company has to offer is simply amazing.

They could improve with a better understanding of the recruiting. It’s a little complex to understand the functionality of different levels. I would also add a more humble approach in regards of other agents successes including the company itself. I’m not talking about stop celebrating your successes but even it out with communities contribution.

My only advise and especially toward new agents is to never ever and compare yourself to others agents. As Oprah said once: We were #1 bc we never compete with others station 🚉. We compare and compete with our own selves.

Good initial support and links to tons of online training, groups, and Verbela connectivity. Relatively quick responses. Rick Tankersley is AMAZING.

New agent directions explanation of work-through needs work. Felt abandoned and overwhelmed by the onslaught of information and inability to connect with someone who could walk me through how to do the large number of checklists for getting set up. Have joined a brick-and-mortar to get the real-world help I needed, and it's been smooth sailing since. An overview or synopsis of what needs done, what actually happens, how to navigate the torrent of emails and information would have been helpful.

Mentorship helps some. Rick Tankersley is WONDERFUL, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, understanding and patient. Take his training!!!!

I've been an agent here for almost 2 years now. Hands down the best commission splits / cap in the industry. I had some trouble at first navigating the eXp world, but that's par for the course on all new company on-boarding. Now that I've got the hang of it, it's so much easier than my last brokerage. Plus the rev-share and stock options make it to where I can earn REAL passive income. I'm very happy with my choice at eXp!

On boarding could be better. You have to hold yourself accountable to join the eXp world meetings. Once I got the swing of it...it was easy.

The conferences are so much fun! The last once was at a pool cabana in Vegas and I got to meet people from around the world.

I love that eXp has options for agents. Of course being a Realtor is the first. But we can be mentors, trainers, recruiters and investors. We can build a retirement strategy with an actual income coming in at the end. We have stock! We get KVCORE! Then they provide all the training to teach you how to do whatever you want! It’s truly a company built for the agent!

If I had to choose something to improve upon, it would be the mentor program. It’s good, but it does matter who you choose for your mentor.

This is for real. I’ve been here almost 5 years and I’ve built more wealth than my previous 15 years combined.

I love how everyone unites with each other to help not only motivate, but also train, teach and mentor. You may think those are all the same like I did before I joined eXp realty. But if you never came from a team perspective and was/are an individual agent, you begin to think everything becomes impossible. Well not with eXp as I personally was rushing to get my brokers license with a temp broker filling in after my fathers passing l, which was also my broker. Time was of the essence as I never felt so rushed by the fill in broker along with still paying bills for my office. Everything was new to me as it was unexpected and hard to explain. eXp has been patient, yet motivational for me to keep striving and let me keep the office name in respect of my fathers business and helping me work with teams and guiding me to create a dominate team, that alone may not have ever happened. Thanks eXp for all you do.

My biggest struggle was learning proglide contract forms. I was so used to digital sign thru the state real estate commission and relearning a different process is a good thing in all, but at times feel it could be little easier perhaps . I know I’ll be used to it soon, as it’s just something new to me now is all. The service is top notch quality though and very professional layout

Yes we’re hiring soooo… If you are needing to move to Lake Conroe we are accepting and hiring agents for eXp’s Garris Real Estate Grp. Come on in. eXp by far from what I seen and heard, is the go to place for us realtors to succeed fully in life and be treated as a person in my opinion. No complaints from our group here..

I like with eXp Realty I don’t have to go into an office. I love the fact that everyone helps one another instead of fighting over leads in an office scenario. I am recently retired from a non real estate career and making real estate my new career. So I am brand new and don’t really have much past knowledge of real estate office life, but I like the comradery that I see so far.

However, I do wish there were better info/classes for brand new agents. Better mentor experience and better mentor screening would have helped me out a lot. I'd like to see better training on “what the heck are real estate agents suppose to do” for brand new agents fresh out of online classes which have nothing to do with actual real estate. Checklists and what to do for sellers and buyers at the beginning would also be nice.

Something else I've noticed with the daily classes...please make this not just PST. Make it where you can submit your time zone so you don’t have to calculate hours. I’m constantly missing classes because I keep forgetting to “add 1 or 2 hours or subtract 1 or 2" early in the morning without my coffee.

If I could tell agents something about eXp, I'd say: get ready to learn tons of new computer stuff! CRMs, MLS, CMAs, RPR, etc! You think you were overwhelmed in online classes, just wait til you get your license and sign up for a brokerage! :)

I think it's great. They are a really supportive brokerage, and everything is cloud-based. I like the online aspect of everything because of the convenience and also because everything is turning virtual nowadays. They are really just ahead of everybody. Another great aspect is its CAP. Once you hit 16,000 after 20 transactions, you are returned your 16,000 in stocks. Most people think it's a pyramid scheme, but they are definitely wrong. They don't take money away from other agents. Everybody has a commission split of 80/20. Other brokerages aren't equal with charging each agent the same commission split, but eXp is equal to all their agents.

I am going to divide my review in to multiple parts so you can dive in and find what you need more quickly.

EXPERIENCED AGENTS

eXp is not the most expensive, nor the least expensive in town. Experienced agents are likely paying more on a split basis or a higher cap at other firms. The 80/20 split capped at $16k is definitely attractive. Two things really stand out for me at eXp. 1) The collaboration. You are going to get more peer interaction and learning at eXp than anywhere else. I've been a full-time agent for 18 years, and I am blown away by how much I am learning from other agents at eXp, who freely share their scripts, drips and best practices and tools. Want to learn how to consistently take 7% listings? A terrific agent selling 85 homes year broke that down for me one afternoon on a free-flowing phone call sharing best practices. We do not view each other as competition, but rather believe that a rising tide floats all boats. What is good for the agent is good for the stock and company, so we all help one another. 2) ICON status. When you hit your cap and then do another 20 transactions, you can qualify for ICON status wherein you can get up to $16,000 back in the form of stock, essentially putting you on a 100% split for the year. Experienced agents can also become mentors and earn a small over-ride on their mentee's first 3 transactions.

NEW AGENTS

The virtual learning environment has been talked about at great length in the other reviews. Your only risk is spending so much time learning that you forget to sell. My best advice: settle in. Focus on one thing. Master it. Then add another "spoke" of lead generation. It all comes down to lead generation and conversion. No matter what brokerage you choose, you need to do the basics (learn to PICK UP THE PHONE early and often) to make any money once your cousin and best friend's uncle have handed you your first 4 deals to cut your teeth. You'll blow through your low hanging fruit quickly. 85% of new licensees fail within the first 2 years regardless of firm. When you are with eXp, you have all the training you need, so failure will only be because you're not putting in the work required to be in the profession. Cold, hard truth, but there it is.

TEAMS and INDEPENDENT BROKERS

Stop kidding yourselves. You'll never sell your team or brokerage and retire. That's a myth. A unicorn. Plus, herding the cats and retention is a nightmare. Once you train up an agent to be sufficiently independent, guess what? They want a better commission split, and your profitability goes out the window. Worse yet, the spouse is transferred out of county or out of State, and you instantly lose all of your investment of time and energy in to that agent. At eXp: 1) You can keep your brand. I am still Denver Lifestyle® Real Estate brokered by eXp Realty. I have 100% control over how I run my business and my internal team splits. 2) You can grow outside of your MLS, so you can keep your agents no matter where they go. I used to dream of expanding throughout Colorado. Now, with eXp, I'm in 10+ States and Canada (soon Mexico) without any additional financial expense. 3) I am finally able to build passive, residual income so I can either grow my savings twice as fast or take my foot off the gas and take a vacation once in a while.

After 16 years of independence, pride was the only thing that delayed my joining eXp. Once I humbled myself to admit someone had built a better model, I jumped all in and decided to master the new model. It's been a life changer - for the better. eXp will be my brokerage for the rest of my career.

Realtor

Christina

Over my 3.5 year tenure with eXp I am continued to be blown away by how high the value is versus what I pay. I have not only quadrupled my sales, but I have had the ability to level up the collaboration with other Realtors across the world. I have never had so much fun learning, growing, and selling Real Estate in my life! Exp is the very best choice for the modern day agent who really wants to be both a trailblazer and industry changer. They got what Real Estate has always been missing right! An agent centric brokerage that truly cares about the well being of todays Realtor. Bravo!

I absolutely love it. It is all very self-oriented, and everything is online. I really like the fact that we don't have to waste gas and go to an office. We can be productive at home and even make extra income with the revenue shares. They provide all the tools we need to be successful, trust me there's no scheme. People may think they are some kind of pyramid scheme, but they definitely aren't. You only pay $85 and get all of the tools you need. If you are looking for a brokerage that you can work at out of the comfort of your home and also make extra revenue besides your sales, this brokerage is for you.

I like everything with eXp. The virtual world and technology are stellar, and so are the tools that we get and access to. Sometimes it's good asking questions in the online world, but I think it promotes being independent. So if you're a team person, you might get lost in the shuffle as far as your support mechanism. But I love that it's a very small thing and you can always go up there and get answers for yourself by searching on the information library and stuff like that. You can also go to the workspace, which is a bonus, and I love it. I also think the fees and splits are good. Compared to other large brokerages, it's fair.

Haven't had the time to go through the training. The training/orientation process isn't a straight cut. It seems very user-unfriendly and complicated.

Everything is online, you can work out of your own home, but you have to be self-disciplined. You get what you put in. You have all the tools you need, easy access to everything online, training, and even someone to go to if you have any questions. The monthly fee is $85, and the commission split is 80/20 with a cap. A cap meaning after you sell the max number of homes, you get 100% of the commission. It is a really good company structure, but I wish we had a physical office only because I am very social.

I enjoy it, and I won't be looking elsewhere. Since it's all online, I can use it whenever and wherever I want. The cloud isn't the only way to access it. You can also access them through some other app portals. The splits are fair and are comparable to others out there. I don't really recruit to have a downline, so the only revenue share I get is through deals when I get the stock options. But I think that overall, it's a good feature that I don't take advantage of.

The support system is good. They're always available to answer questions you have. I generate my own leads and also use kvCORE, and the leads I get from it are good. I also take advantage of the revenues and stocks except for the insurance. I don't think any company is a five, so there's nothing specifically I have in mind to change or improve to make it a five.

It's a really good brokerage and platform. It's pretty much a virtual environment with meetings, training, and many resources. Their onboarding process has gotten a lot simpler, and they handhold you to make sure you get all the steps down. I definitely recommend eXp Realty because of all resources and profit shares they provide.

They have a lot of online resources. There is this platform they use where the agents can go online and keep in touch with all their new and past clients for future references. I really like the way the organization is set up. It's easy to use, and we are able to do it in the comfort of our home. They also have a great mentorship program, where they will provide you with training to get started or with motivation and support. Everyone is helpful and giving, and they even send leads to each other. They're great.

eXp has been great. I do all the state meetings and all of that. I have no intention of leaving eXp...like ever as far as I know. I think the splits and fees are pretty perfect for me. The support on eXp World is excellent. I mean hands down, they help me through anything I might need whenever I do need it and walk me through it.

I love the virtual aspect. They let you be shareholders, provide healthcare, and I like that you can invest in the company and earn everything back! They have an 80/20 commission split and $85 monthly fee that covers training classes, access to the virtual world, and many other tools. I love my brokerage!

I belong to eXp realty, which is the fastest-growing brokerage in the nation. There are over thirty-three thousand agents. I just joined in January, and so far, so good. They offer stock options for retirement, they offer insurance for agents, and they offer agent revenue. The commission split is pretty typical (80/20), and there's a couple of fees associated with it, but it's still lower than any other brokerage. Currently, I don't have anything to offer as far as an improvement I don't think I've been with them long enough to have any.

It's a great company to work for. Fees are ok. They are a little high but they're good. You get a website with it, and you get leads from them. They have a regular monthly fee and they have a transaction fee that I'm not fond of. This transaction fee is for an attorney to take a look over all your transactions.

One of my favorite parts about eXp is expworld because of the training. Because of COVID, I haven't been selling a lot this year and have only done one deal. But I had no issues, and any questions I had were quickly answered by support. I would have appreciated that when we were on lockdown, that they could have given us a break on our monthly fees, but otherwise, I think the monthly fees are perfect when the business is hot. They offer insurance, but I don't need it since I am disabled and already have the coverage I need.

I have to say the online and cloud-based resources are probably the best thing about eXp. They have many online tools to facilitate clean marketing materials, transaction management, and the presentations. The support system is okay, but I would prefer more broker and assistant availability and direct broker support.

I like the ability to be able to access all of my eXp resources anytime remotely. Having an avatar and being able to digitally access the campus or eXp World program and talk to accounting, tech services, my broker, or anybody I need to get in touch with is amazing. And also, the fees and the splits are very low than what I received with my previous broker. I find it to be better overall. Sometimes I do the trainings, but if I have questions since my questions are more specific than general, I instead go in and talk to either the broker or broker's assistance. I can quickly go out and go in and get my questions easily answered. The training is like any other brokerage. The only difference is that you can access it at any time you want without having to travel or dress up. It saves up a lot of time that you would have otherwise been investing in getting in these kinds of trainings and being able to do it remotely it's just something that has been very, very nice. And I know that in our current environment, there are a lot of people who have been working from home and I think they now understand a little bit more what I've been able to do with eXp. COVID changed the landscape of our world, but it hasn't affected my business or my company, so I think that positions eXp to be in the arena to have extreme growth in the future and the ability to support that growth through the technology that they have. I've been very impressed, and I continue to rely on their services, and I'd say I've never been let down.

The best part of eXp is my commission check! I wouldn't say it's the best out there, but I still like that part of it because it was better than where I used to work. I do think they can still improve it by giving better commission cuts. The fees are fair, and eXp World and the support seem decent for the money. I haven't really tried the training yet.

The best thing about EXP is that they're virtual. They are rapidly growing and definitely the most innovative. Their people are scattered around the US and unbelievably good at working in collaboration. The fees are high but they include hours of training and coaching each week, and a video subscription so you can learn anytime, anywhere with no pressure. The commission is 80-100% and we receive stock plus unlimited opportunities to earn our own shares. The only experience so far that I did not like is just that their onboarding process can be more seamless than what it is right now but other than that, I don't have a problem with EXP at all.

My favorite part is working in the cloud. The support is great, because any questions I have ever had have always been answered. I think the commission is good, but the fees could be better. I don't take advantage of the insurance, but I of course take advantage of the profit-sharing.

About

eXp Realty is much different than the average brokerage. With an agent count of over 25,000 in the US alone, it may come as a surprise that it’s not a big franchise like Keller Williams or Re/MAX – which have offices that are independently owned & run by franchisees.  eXp Realty is currently the fastest-growing brokerage in the US by agent count.

Most eXp Realty agents work remotely from home offices or shared workspaces. The company dubs itself as the “First cloud-based real estate brokerage.”

eXp Realty History

Glenn Sanford founded the company a year after the real estate crash and subsequent financial crisis of 2007 & 2008. Since it was cloud-based, agents could move their real estate practices entirely online. Because of the online model, they were able to provide benefits such as fewer overhead costs, no desk fees, no franchise fees, and high-commission splits. Glenn founded the brokerage on the idea that both new real estate license holders and experienced agents deserve to share in the revenues and also own the company they work to build.

Agents have the option to log into a 3D world – similar to “The Sims” – and do business in this online world.  For those who are not as tech-savvy and just want to be part of a brokerage with good commission splits, accessing the online world is not required.

If you’re drawn to things that are new, innovative, and disruptive, look no further than eXp Realty. They are growing very fast, as evidenced by their climbing agent count. You can also enjoy better commission splits than at other top franchises.

Quick facts to know about eXp Realty

  • Currently, the brokerage operates in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
  • It’s a publicly-traded company, meaning that real estate agents, brokers, and the public can acquire the stock for themselves.
  • At eXp Realty, there are no desk fees & franchise fees.
  • Agents get to share in the revenues that their recruits bring in up to the seventh tier.
  • The number of agents tripled in 2016.
  • The company dubs itself as the largest brokerage in the US in terms of geography.

eXp’s Revenue Sharing Model

pexels-energepiccom-159888Commission: Like most brokerages, the primary income agents earn is based on commissions of home sales from buyers and sellers they represent.

Passive income via revenue share: Revenue sharing kicks in after you sponsor a new agent to join the company. There are up to 7 tiers, and you receive up to 3.5% of the revenue generated by a first-tier agent. The revenue share amount per agent is capped at $2,800 yearly. Having more recruits means more money coming your way in passive income.  Though revenue sharing remains somewhat controversial, it’s not a novel concept. Keller Williams adopts a similar model.

Selling company stock: Agents may obtain shares of eXp stock at a discount. They are also rewarded with shares after hitting certain caps. Selling the shares at market prices might generate additional income, as the stock price has increased quite a bit the past few years.

eXp Realty Commission Split & Transaction Fees

eXp is a full-service brokerage, meaning that they offer agents lots of support and tools. Their split is at 80/20, and it’s capped at $16,000 per year. Once the agent hits the cap amount, they keep 100% of their commission and will only pay transaction fees for each additional transaction.

The Truth about eXp Realty

pexels-dio-hasbi-saniskoro-3280130Many agents like that eXp gives them the chance to become owners in the company through stock rewards and discount purchases. Other common themes are good team support, bountiful resources, helpful classes, & great technology.

eXp Training, Resources & Education

With the savings brought about by not having unnecessary locations, the company has invested in offering agents many training & educational resources.

Here are some of the programs:

  • eXp eXpand:   More experienced agents can volunteer to mentor new associates.
  • Weekly live training: You’re always learning at eXp Realty thanks to the events, classes, and meetings hosted in the virtual eXp World. Sessions are facilitated by top producers and experts. You’ll learn about lead generation, company technologies, making sales & listings, and more. In the virtual campus, you can walk around with your avatar and join classrooms. You can even ask questions to the instructors during the live sessions.

FAQs

We get this question a lot! Because some of the agents who work for eXp recruit aggressively, many people compare it to a pyramid scheme. That said, Exp Realty is NOT a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes generate money through the contributions of the recruits. It does follow a similar revenue share model to a multi-level-marketing company, though.

It’s quite cheap to become an agent at eXp because the brokerage doesn’t have many fees or overhead costs in the first place. Agents just pay about $150 as the initial fee. On-going monthly costs include $50 for the tech and $35 for the eXp campus.

Fewer fees & startup costs: Don’t pay franchise fees or desk fees. Plus, the commission splits are attractive.

Participate in the stock purchase program: You can use 5% of your commission check to buy the company’s stock, offered at a 20% discount.

Collaborate internationally & nationally: With agents in all 50 states and global locations, you’ll provide clients with added value, for instance, connecting them with international buyers.

Revenue sharing: Passive income means that you can still earn money on the side.

Discounted healthcare: Participate in the eXp Agent Healthcare program for low-cost insurance.

Working remotely from home and never having to set foot at the office may not provide the comradeship enjoyed by agents at brick & mortar agencies. Communicating in-person might pose a challenge, as eXp agents socialize & collaborate through the Workplace tool provided by Facebook.

Some people have also complained of the aggressive recruiting efforts by some eXp agents, who may be out to increase their passive income instead of focusing on helping their clients sell or buy homes.

To become an eXp agent, you can either find a local agent who is already an agnet at eXP who can refer you. Or, read more about finding an eXp sponsor

The company is well-known for its many tech tools.

eXp Enterprise: Agents use it to access all the tools, resources, and technologies the company has to offer.

BoldTrail & Kunversion CRM: The CRM system comes with features such as lead management,  mass emailing, Craigslist marketing, etc. Agents can also create eXp branded lead generation websites where visitors can search MLS Listings directly. The best part is that BoldTrail is offered free of charge to all eXp agents.

SkySlope: eXp agents get access to SkySlope to manage transactions. SkySlope enables users to sign documents digitally, track emails, phone calls, and more. It helps you organize all of your real estate software in one place.

Making it rain: An advertising program that enables agents to drive paid real estate ads via search engines to generate buyer and seller leads.

eXp World: eXp World is the virtual campus that allows agents to collaborate, attend virtual training, find information, and more. An eXp agent can invite you to view the world for a couple of days, even if you’re not a member of eXp.  It’s very easy to use, and is meant to help emulate a bustling office environment.

Marketing & branding tools: Like most brokerages, eXp gives you access to logos, signs, customizable marketing materials, real estate flyer templates, assets to build a successful real estate social media strategy, etc.

YouTube video

For the most part agents and brokers work from a home office or use the eXp virtual office (cloud campus) option. This allows eXp to save a lot of money, and also allows for more flexibility. However, as eXp continues to grow, there are a few brick and mortar offices scattered throughout a few areas across the U.S.

The corporate headquarters is in Washington, but the virtual office concept is what many agents are attracted to when choosing eXp.

There are options for teams or even individual agents who need to meet in an actual facility. eXp partners with a large, nationwide business facility that offers free access to office/meeting space whenever it is needed.

Their split is 80/20, and it is capped at $16,000 per year. Once the agent hits the cap amount, they keep 100% of their commission and will only pay transaction fees for each additional transaction.

Before you hit the yearly commission CAP of $16,000 (paid to eXp), you’ll not pay any transaction fees, only $40 for E&O and $20 for broker review. After reaching the cap, eXp may grant you up to $16,000 back in company stock. There are some requirements you must fulfill to get the $16,000:

  1. Sell 20 more homes after hitting the cap amount OR earn at least $500K in gross commission income from at least ten transactions and pay a qualifying fee equal to $5,000 less capped transaction fees paid.
  2. On each subsequent transaction, after achieving your cap, there is a fee of $250 per transaction. Once you have paid $5000 in transaction fees (on about 20 transactions), you switch to paying a transaction fee of $75.

There are transaction fees along the way. There is a $25 broker review fee. So for each transaction that you turn in, you’ll be charged $25 for a broker review.

Secondly is the risk management fee. This is essentially the insurance. So, for every transaction you turn in, you’ll be charged a $40 transaction risk management fee, that fee caps at $500.

So when you do 12 transactions in a single year, that transaction fee will disappear after you cap. And your commissions go to 100%.

Finally, there is a flat monthly fee of $85 each and every month, whether or not you have a closing, that is what is called the cloud brokerage fee. That fee generally covers the CRM, which is supplied to you, a full tech stack of real estate website builders, which is supplied to you, and your SkySlope, transactional management platform.

You can sign up online.  The process is a little confusing, and it’s easy to make mistakes, so we’ve included a guide on filling out the eXp application here.

Most agents select a sponsor when joining eXp.  We have outlined some criteria you should think about when picking a sponsor, as well as most frequently asked questions about picking an eXp sponsor here.

The short answer is – YES!

BoldTrail is a very robust CRM that all eXp agents have access to. So here’s what’s really neat, you can put all your customer’s information in there so you can see when they were on the website, you can see what they were looking at, etc.

You’re able to keep all of their data. You can send them reports in an automated fashion. You can communicate via text, email video messages, you can create automated campaigns that have multiple touches.

So what this does is it automates the touches so that you can stay in contact with a far larger group of people over time. When it comes to finding the best lead generation for realtors that’s particularly powerful. BoldTrail makes it easy to generate leads so you can simply click a button and run a Google pay-per-click campaign.

Most of the time for a small budget, you can buy anywhere from 10-25 real estate leads per month.

No, deciding whether or not you want to recruit is completely up to you! However, if you do attract new agents to eXp there is an opportunity for additional income.

Yes, there is a mentor program at eXp. This is particular helpful for new agents. You’ll be assigned a mentor, usually someone who is local, who can help lead you down the right path. Agents can shadow their mentors and tag along when they go out on listing appointments. Mentors will also help review your first few contracts, and oversee your training.

What is Mentor University?

Shortly after an agent’s license is transferred over to eXp, they will be given access to a 10 step course that educates them on real estate fundamentals. The university program is meant to be flexible, and agents can access the videos and course whenever it is convenient to them. Graduation from the university program will come after the state broker and mentor feel you are ready!

YES! Many agents choose eXp because they are able to carry over their existing branding as not to confuse clients. They have the option to keep their existing look, logo, and business cards.

Because marketing is so important in the real estate industry, agents are encouraged to develop their own look and feel for their brand. For new agents, or those wanting to change their look up, there are also customizable templates agents have access to.

EXP is quickly expanding to more and more countries. As of April 2021, they are in 11 countries so far.

  1. EXP Realty United States
  2. EXP Realty Canada
  3. EXP Realty United Kingdom
  4. EXP Realty Australia
  5. EXP Realty Brazil
  6. EXP Realty South Africa
  7. EXP Realty India
  8. EXP Realty Mexico
  9. EXP Realty France
  10. EXP Realty Portugal
  11. EXP Realty Italy

Yes.

Starting in 2019, eXp began offering lost-cost health benefits for it’s agents.

This is unique, as many brick and mortar brokerages don’t have this option.

There isn’t a traditional salary at eXp. The amount of money you earn annually depends on how much you work, and what types of properties you are buying and selling.

The range is pretty wide, with the average eXp agent bringing home around $61,000/year. However, brokers can make much more than this annually.

Yes, eXp has a virtual office where someone can answer your questions or address your problem over the phone. The office is typically open for 10-12 hours a day, and is easy to get ahold of.

There is also a chat service where agents can chat with brokers, stock services, the accounting team, etc.

eXp also prides themselves on having resources readily available for all agents. That’s one of the many reasons the mentor program exists.

Most states do have laws and regulation when it comes to this. A lot of them state that any and all pendings stay with your old broker. In case there is a loophole, you can always check your contract carefully. However, brokers tend to stick to commission arrangements previously discussed.

It is recommended that you wait for pendings to close and that you don’t have anything in escrow when looking to make the switch.

This can happen immediately! Once a license is moved over agents are golden!
