The freedom to do your own thing, especially if you are a seasoned agent, and 100% commissions. I also like how closely the Broker and office administration people work with the agents. The Broker is very approachable and is ready to help.

They could possibly improve more in-office (in person) training programs for products and updated versions of the documents and forms.

Great company, great people. You will not regret your professional association with this Realty.

For a large office, it is very supportive and friendly! Everyone from the broker, designated supervisor, staff, and agents work together in support of each other. They have training classes to support agents building their business to what their definition of success is. All with the agents keeping 100% of the commission.

Maybe more locations would definitely be great. Otherwise, everyone is very helpful.

100% commission with 100% support! You can't beat that!

The concept behind the brokerage is good. Having a nice quiet office space is a positive, rather than the too-common call-center that old school brokerages have become.

The independent brokerage (in LA) did not have adequate support staff. There was no backup system created for staff that experienced illness or other needs that took them away from the office. We were mandated to use the in-house transaction coordinator, which was a huge problem.

Don’t be lured in by the attraction of 100% commission alone, nor by the charm of the broker. Check into EVERYTHING. While the founders had a good vision, they didn’t set up the national system to properly support individual agents in various locations.

I like the freedom it affords me. I’ve been an agent for 37 years and this is the best! I have been with ERA, a boutique in Houston, Century 21, Re/Max, Ebby, and now United RE - DFW Properties

They pretty much have everything covered.

Please come visit our office and speak with our broker, Brenda Cole.

Happy Camper at URE

Our URE broker is always accessible, so it makes it super easy to do my job. I love keeping all my commission, and the agents in my office are very helpful and friendly. There really isn't anything I don't like. Unlike my last brokerage, I love this company.

I tell all agents I know to check out United Real Estate and find YOUR freedom! Especially if you feel trapped in your current brokerage.

The Broker is very knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely interested in the well-being of his agents. Plenty of training opportunities provided. Brokerage does not skimp on the services provided to agents. The Marketing and Compliance/Transaction Departments are second to none. Very helpful and efficient office. Great family atmosphere.

I cannot think of anything that needs improvement.

If you’ve been considering a move. You owe it to yourself to meet with the Broker.

About

About United Real Estate

In the modern business world, be it real estate or any other industry, the working individual wants to see returns that are equivalent to the efforts they put in. This principle is what United Real Estate Group is built on. Operating on a franchise basis, they are a company that serves as a brokerage for real salespeople (agents) and as a support for brokers. They are creating a platform for agents to make a better living doing the work they love.

United Real Estate offers training, marketing, and technology tools to their agents in order to help them generate and process leads. The company believes in helping agents, both experienced and those who have just earned their real estate license, grow their individual businesses while keeping them in the know and offering them visibility.

The organization is very agent-focused and has a different commission structure than many other brokerages. According to them, this is to ‘make it more profitable for an agent to sell real estate and for real estate brokers to leverage a complete system to better grow a successful, thriving real estate brokerage’. So far, their agents are very happy to be with them because they offer full-service brokerage support. Currently, they operate in 24 states with more than 100 offices and over 10,500 agents. They are actively looking to expand their operations to other nations and states.

Company History

The company was created in 2011 by real estate visionaries, Dan Duffy and Dave Chawaga, this relatively young company has been very successful. For five years in a row, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 has been on the list of the Franchise Times top 400 companies. This ranks it amongst successful household companies like McDonald’s, Hilton, Subway, Papa John’s, The UPS Store, and IHOP. The Swanepoel TRENDS Report called them a ‘frontrunner’ and ‘part of the next generation of real estate brokers’ as a result of their technology.  They were one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in 2015-2017, and 2019. The Entrepreneur Franchise 500 also ranked them in three categories:

  1. ‘Top 100 New Franchises
  2. Top Franchises
  3. Top Brands’ in the year 2018.

On the charity front, they have a giving back initiative called Project Blue. They partnered with Autism Speaks, a leader in autism research and support to help bring light, love, and support to those on the spectrum.

What It’s Like Working There

This company is hands-on in its operations. They create their own training programs, software, and they also adapt to new technology for their platform for easy assimilation by the team. They are one of the organizations that charge on a transaction basis, rather than taking a split of the commission. Instead of getting a cut from the profits of the property sold, the agent and broker can keep the entirety of the commission. They will only need to pay a flat fee after each transaction. This ensures that each transaction can be properly tracked, and easily paid for.

They also pay agents quickly. They ensure every agent is paid within 48 hours of the transaction completion.

This is also one of the most technologically inclined real estate companies around. They offer a modernized support system, technological support team, and in-house training for their staff and agents. They are regularly adapting to the technology of the times. One recent example is seen during the lockdown imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. They partnered with Zillow to offer virtual home inspection tours.

Their regular technology package includes:

  • National Website
  • Agent Website
  • Office Website
  • MLS Integration
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Customer Relationship Management Platform (CRM)
  • Technology Support Line
  • Responsive & Mobile Friendly Agent Website
  • Paperless Transaction
  • Video Solutions

Training And Tools Provided

United Real Estate provides strong professional marketing support. In addition to the marketing materials they give, they have several templates of different marketing tools that can help an agent create an individual brand. Their in-house marketing team, Enhanced Marketing Solutions, also helps create custom products for the agents.

Some of their standard offerings include:

  • Personal Branded Agent Website
  • Personalized URL

  • Remarket to Leads with Your CRM Platform
  • Agent Branded Signs
  • Company Phone Number
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Business Cards, Letterhead, Postcards, Door Hangers, Flyers, Brochures, and more

On the training front, they offer several in-person and online services like webinars. Some of the training services include:

  • Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing, Exam Prep, & Continuing Real Estate Education by The CE Shop
  • Premium Membership to Bernice Ross’s RealEstateCoach.com
  • 100+ Articles, Radio Shows, Training Library

FAQs

Believe it or not, they don’t have commission splits based on an agreed percentage like most other brokerages. It’s true, United Real Estate does not split the commission. Instead, they get a fixed fee for each successful transaction the agent completes. This is to let the agents keep more money in their pockets, and it also ensures that they get paid quickly.

The fees differ from state to state, but there is a $65 monthly fee, a $45 Errors and Omissions Insurance fee per transaction, and a $495 fee per transaction. This is to help support agents who are regularly making transactions.
