About Colibri Real Estate
Colibri Real Estate (Formerly Real Estate Express) is one of the largest online real estate schools in the US. Founded in 1996, it was among the first to start offering real estate education on the internet. They provide both pre-licensing and continuing education. There are no in-person classes & fixed schedules – and because of this, they’re able to keep costs lower than a traditional real estate school. You can also learn anywhere and at all hours of the day.
Quick facts about Colibri Real Estate
- Real estate courses are available in about 30 states.
- The school claims to have trained over 200,000 professionals.
- It’s affiliated with the McKissock, LLC Company. McKissock also owns several other real estate schools, including Allied Real Estate Schools.
Learning experience at Colibri Real Estate
When you sign up and purchase their online courses, you get a user portal. The user section is well-laid out with all your courses displayed neatly. Don’t expect a video-based program: Learning is through short text-based chapters, accompanied by photos, illustrations, and other learning aids.
Upon completing a chapter, you can test your retention level with quizzes from “Check your understanding” sections. Difficult terms will not confuse you since detailed glossary pages are available for reference. You can even print chapters, and use your highlighter marker when studying.
Other key features
- Progress tracking: Online courses don’t have strict supervision or mandatory attendance. So, it’s easy to fall behind or procrastinate. Colibri Real Estate has anticipated this difficulty. On each topic, you can set a completion goal (a particular date in the future). Once you do this, you get two progress bars: One tracks your actual progress, and the other shows where you should be to meet your goal.
- Student forum: Online courses might become a little lonely with no sense of camaraderie. The forum section is a message board. You can ask questions and have instructors and students participate. In short, it’s a way to try to emulate the interaction you’d get in a physical classroom.
- E-books: Students get access to e-books from their portals, including the Real Estate Math Handbook, Principles of Real Estate Practice, etc.
- Instructor assistance: You’ll see the name of the instructor, their email address & phone number on each topic you have to cover. When you have queries, you just shoot them a message.
Colibri Real Estate Courses
1) Pre-licensing: This is the class you need to get your real estate license. Besides being required by most states, it equips learners with the knowledge to pass their state’s licensing exams. Colbri Real Estate is approved by state real estate commissions in many states.
2) Exam prep course: Prepares students for the actual state test by taking them through questions & topics they might encounter. It is highly recommended to take a prep course in order to increase your chances of passing on the first try.
3) Broker courses: For experienced sales associates wanting to upgrade their licenses.
4) Continuing education courses & SAE: Aimed at agents renewing their licenses and those wanting to improve their knowledge. Most states require some level of CE on a regular basis.
5) Appraisal licensing: The course is not directly offered by Colibri Real Estate, but by their sister company, McKissock Learning.
What students love about Colibri Real Estate
Most reviewers say good things about the school. People like their website’s ease of use. The support staff is helpful, answering queries quickly. Generally, students feel that the content was sufficient to pass the state exams while another delighted in the ability to self-pace. In general, a few other common themes loved by Colibri Real Estate grads:
- You can have your questions answered by instructors.
- Take advantage of promotions and price cuts, year-round. For instance, this November the Colibri Real Estate Promo Code applied a 40% discount.
- Tried and tested courses with thousands of agents trained.
- The Career Hub section gives agents ongoing and free education through articles on self-accountability, luxury real estate, etc.
- The school provides a 100% satisfaction guarantee. You’re entitled to receive a full refund if you’re not satisfied with the course.
- Pass or don’t pay guarantee for the exam prep, which ensures you receive a refund if you fail the state exams.
Colibri Real Estate’s Drawbacks
The complaint we hear most often is a similar one we hear about most real estate schools…Colibri Real Estate teaches you enough to pass the real estate exam, but not the ins and outs of the topics you need to know to be a successful estate agent (like real estate website builders, the best real estate lead generation companies, or the best real estate CRMs).
The Colibri course covers the basics, but like most real estate courses lacks info about what to do once you’ve passed. Most notably, it doesn’t cover the best real estate software as you’re starting out, how to bring in buyer leads, or how to find the right real estate CRM (even if you’re looking for a free CRM tool). If you’re looking for more advanced topics like real estate ads, building your own real estate lead generation website, which real estate marketing tools you’ll need, how to build a successful social media strategy, or even just real estate marketing ideas in general, you will need to complete those studies on your own.
Colibri Real Estate FAQs
It depends on where you’re located, because different states set different mandatory learning hours. The differences are reflected in the prices Colibri Real Estate charges. In most states, there are four packages:
- The Basics – With instructor support, 60-70 hours of coursework, three e-books, etc.
- Exam Prep – Packages include “The Basics” course and exam prep materials.
- Exam Pre Plus – More perks like weekly live Question and Answer sessions with instructors.
- Ultimate Learning – Includes extra add-ons like the course’s hard copy textbook, 90-day boot camp, and membership to the professional development program for one year.
It’s accredited by both ARELLO and IDECC. And most courses are approved by state real estate commissions (their business relies on it!).
Colibri Real Estate is approved by 34 different state real estate commissions. They only sell courses in states in which they’re officially licensed or accredited. Thousands of people have successfully completed courses from them and then gone on to take the licensing exam.

It was very convenient. Working a full-time job and being able to do the online program was the best. If you have a job, this is the route to go. It was not too hard and not too easy, be ready to do a lot of studying. When it comes to the test prep, I suggest you look at other options where they provide previous questions on the tests, it does help a lot.

I thought it was very convenient because I was able to do everything online. If you are looking for something remote, this is the way to go. The whole curriculum was good, but the only issue they could improve is the length of it. I think it would be beneficial if they point out the important facts that would be on the state and national exams.

Being able to adjust the courses to my work scheduled was helpful. Something you can do to be effective every day is to work on a certain schedule to complete it faster. I thought it was good and straight to the point. The only issue I had with it was that there were questions about the following chapter in every test, which made them very difficult. It was an a good course, and I recommend it to anybody who is currently working or wants to do this on the side.

I thought it was very helpful for sure. To have that extra practice, made me feel well prepared for the state and national exam. I really liked the fact that it would tell us which questions we missed, why we missed it, and which was the correct answer. The only thing I disliked was that there was some information that wasn't covered in the test prep or curriculum, so I was clueless about some questions. For the most part, I thought it was very helpful, and I wouldn't have passed without it.

Real Estate Express had all the hours I needed to get it all done and get licensed. I thought the structure was set up well. I'd say just to go ahead and do it. Get her done. It's nice to work at your own pace, and it prepared me well for the exams. I passed both on my first try.

I thought it was easy, and I liked that I was able to do everything at my own time. I suggest allocating time to work on the program every day until you complete it. I thought it was good, and I would recommend it to others. The only thing that I didn't like was that I had to retake a particular portion of the state exam because none of those were included in the curriculum. I would strongly suggest for them to update their curriculum on the ethics portion for the state exam.

The best thing about this program is that you can work anywhere and at whatever time you want, it is super convenient. I do think that they should input more videos and pictures to make it more entertaining, rather than having to read so much information. I also think that they should add a game plan on how much work we need to put in a day to finish in a certain amount of time, like 5 hours a day, to finish in 3 months. A game plan would be super helpful. It was a good program, and it was at a very good price.
Take good notes!!!!
Real Estate Express provided great study material needed for the tests, and it was very user friendly. I would recommend you take good notes when you are going through the modules. That way, you can always reference back when you complete the whole thing. It somewhat prepared me, but I felt very well prepared after I studied.

If it weren't for the test prep, I wouldn't have passed my exams. I thought it was very compatible with the actual tests, and I felt very prepared going into testing.

Very convenient. I'd suggest to read the chapters first before answering the question so that you retain the information. Don't rush and try to answer them without knowing the material. The test prep at the end was very useful. It prepared me well for the state exam and was a very good price.

It was amazing! It was very flexible, convenient, and thorough. I've had a real estate license for 30 years, and I think it's a good option for people who can do the virtual aspect of learning. I think the content and price is great. Worth it!

I liked the ease of being able to do it from home, and it was cheaper than in-person. If you take an online program, you have to be self-motivated to complete it in a timely manner because it is a self-taught program. One thing I think they should improve is to highlight what is essential. That way, their users can focus on specific information. I also feel that they should input more interaction aspects just so that it can be more entertaining and motivate users to complete.

The only benefit was that it prepared me for the state exam. It is very affordable, and the website is user friendly. In my opinion, the material was challenging to process, and the testing was frustrating because of the proctoring. I did have to retake the state exam because of the poor material, but with all the studying, I passed my second time around.

It was horrible. This does not only come from me, but a friend of mine who did not continue because of how bad it was. The courses, testing, support & responses were the worst. The only favorable aspect was their affordable pricing. I literally had to study outside material & contact others for their materials to pass the state exam. Luckily, I did get enough material from outside sources & passed the state exam on the first attempt. I personally do not recommend it.

The customer service replied quickly and was able to offer me a refund over the phone upon hearing my concerns with the course.
The program completely lacked any kind of visuals, charts, videos, or even real life example scenarios; NOTHING help increase comprehension of the material. The "law reading" assignments read like contract language that was nearly impossible to understand given that we were not given the proper context or vocabulary needed to understand it. The Power Point that followed was a regurgitation of the law reading but SLIGHTLY more understandable. LOADS of information and lists were provided and it was left to us to try to decipher which of it was most important to commit to memory. I somehow doubt I would have been tested in real life on how many hours of education I would have needed to become a Cemetery Broker when I am attempting to get a sales license, yet hours were spent covering this type of useless material.
I emailed my so-called teacher a simple question and never received a response even three days later. Ultimately I spent 13.5 hours completing just 9 PERCENT of the 30-hour credit course before quitting and purchasing a much better online program.

I liked the fact that it was online, user friendly, and there were no technical issues. The only problems that need improvement are the spelling errors and some important material that wasn't provided in the curriculum. I also think that it would be beneficial for users if they could offer a print out of the book in case they need to reference back when it comes to studying for the state exam.

I liked being able to take the classes online rather than having to be in a classroom. If you have a busy lifestyle or have kids at home and don't have an opportunity to go to a classroom, this is a good option to take where you can work as fast or slow as you want to. I thought the material was a bit dry, and it really didn't pertain to the actual real estate world. It was not hard to get through the material, but I do wish it was more of a practical application on how to fill out a contract instead of the legalities of real estate. The one thing that does need improvement is the testing situation because we had to go through a third party company that was so glitchy and they worked poorly together. Overall I thought it was effective, and I passed my exams the first try.

It was all spot on, on both the national and state portion, and had all the right information I needed to pass. I suggest not taking studying lightly. Make sure you retain as much as you can so that you don't have to retake one of the exams like I did.

I thought this test prep was good. It was super close to the actual exams, and it prepared me well. I was able to retake the test many times, so that really helped me retain the material. It's really good.

I liked the flexibility of it all, being able to do everything online at my own pace. I also thought the platform was great and very user friendly. They do provide you with enough information to help you pass the test. I passed on my first try.

For online courses, you will need a lot of self-discipline and motivation to complete it as quickly as possible. A tip I would suggest is to take notes on everything and to study before you're proctoring the test. I got a good deal on the price. One idea that would make them different from their competitors is if they were to have the instructors have zoom meetings to check on the users to see if they have any questions on the chapter or just to check-in.
Real Estate Express
I like the convenience of logging on when ever I want. The class didn't beat around the bush stuff, and was easy to understand.

I purchased test prep through Real Estate Express, and it was really good. It contained a lot of information, and it was a lot more difficult than the actual exams. The test prep being more difficult helped prepare me. I'd rather it be harder than the exams than easier. That way, I am prepared.

I thought this test prep was mediocre. I had a bit of trouble with the state and national exam because the test prep was 50% relevant to what was actually on the test, which is not a good percentage. I hope they do update it to have more information we need for the exams.

I like that I was able to take care of the course at my own pace instead of having to wait on a regular class schedule times. One thing that I think could've been helpful is auditory learning and possibly videos that would've made it easier for a visual learner like myself. I also think if they were to offer more testing sites to make it easier for their users. Be sure to take notes and make sure you review them before testing.

As a mother of two little ones, this system gave me the flexibility to fit the classes with my daily schedule. I'd recommend this to anyone with a family or a tight schedule. Its a lot better than having to drive and sit in a classroom all day. If you take online courses, make sure to stick with it, and don't get distracted.

It was very easy to use, the website was efficiently fast, and content was aligned well with the actual tests. I would suggest to study hard and put time aside each day to work on the courses. If you want to get licensed for multiple states, I would really recommend you use this option. It was a really affordable course.

The site was easy to use, and I loved the fact I was able to work at my own pace at the comfort of my home. It was really easy to get started, and I got it at a very great price. I thought we had to go through a lot of material, I wasn't expecting so much subject matter, but it was all super interesting, and I learned so much from it. One thing that I think would be very helpful would be if they provided a notecard feature of highlights on the information from the slides. I think that would help a lot by pointing out what exactly we needed to retain. It's a great site, and I've recommended it to a couple of friends.

It was a very intuitive and user-friendly website. The material was super informative, and it prepared me well for the final exams. All I suggest when doing online courses is to stay on top of it and don't fall behind.

I thought the pricing was cheaper than their competition. It was all straightforward as far as taking the courses and was very informative. I think that they should make the material more entertaining, such as videos for visual learners. I do advise agents to knock out everything as fast as you can, so you can get to selling.

I thought the Real Estate Express test prep was good. It was easy to navigate, and the material was relevant to what was on the state and national exams. I also liked that I was able to study on my own time and that I was able to go back to review or retake the tests. I thought it was good, and it helped me passed my exams the first try.

I liked it because I was able to complete the courses at my own pace while working a full-time job. For anyone thinking of going with Real Estate Express - put in the extra effort to be disciplined, and stay focused. The program itself was great. The staff was quick to respond, and I passed my exams on the first attempt.

Real Estate Express was the best. It was very inexpensive compared to other schools, the curriculum was thorough, & online support was SUPER helpful. When it came down to the testing, although math is not my strongest subject, I passed the state & national exam, thanks to the thorough curriculum they provided and master prep I got from a friend. I am very grateful I came around Real Estate Express. To make it even better once you are completed with the real estate express they provide you with a website to compare brokerages & help you find the best fit brokerage. Hands-down recommend.

The layout content and questions were very good. It pretty much covered the whole class, and it was closely similar to the actual exams. If it weren't for the test prep, I think it would've been very difficult having to refer back to the whole curriculum to study for the exams.

I like that it was pretty simple and user friendly, it wasn't too complicated to understand. The one thing that would be cool is if they create a mobile map that way, they have easier access. I thought it was a good system and very affordable.

The pricing was great, but I did come across many issues while taking the courses. I had difficulty with the proctoring, and they didn't immediately update their information when there were changes made by the real estate commission. The whole process was just frustrating, so I'd recommend doing your research before you choose a school!

It really helped a lot. When it came to the end of the courses, I had forgotten everything, and thanks to the exam prep, it all came back to me. It was a lot easier using the test prep than having to go back through all the course material. It was a fast and efficient way of refreshing all the information I needed for the exams.

If you are self-disciplined enough to do online studies, this would be the best option. It was thorough and super user friendly. I do wish they would've provided us with more resources like study guides for their tests, that prepared us, and we could refer back to them for the actual tests. It was a good class and super affordable.

This is what helped me the most in getting ready for the exams. I studied with the test prep for a good week, and it was really easy to follow. I liked how it had so many vocabulary words and that it was all multiple choice. It was super helpful.

I enjoyed the convenience of being able to access whenever I needed to. I do suggest taking as many notes as you can because it will help towards the end, and it will also help you retain the information. There was a good amount of information that was on the exam that was not provided in the curriculum. I think they should make sure they provide all the information that is going to be on the exam because it was very difficult and confusing.

The test prep was really good. It really helped, considering that we were not in a classroom environment where you get detailed explanations or back stories.

The content was structured very well, and it was more user friendly than all the other sites I've encountered. I do think they need to improve, making the material more oriented towards the exam instead of being general. I remember there was a lot of content that wasn't covered, and I think they could summarize it a bit better. That way, it's not so much material to memorize. This program will give you a feel on what you'll be using in the field of real estate.

I like the ease of online access it provided. I thought the curriculum was very informative and a bit boring, but real estate law is generally monotonous. The only thing that I think they need to improve is making sure that everything that's on the exams is in the curriculum, it was a bit tedious whenever I'd come across something that wasn't covered. For the most part, it was good and super effective.

It had an easy format, and I thought it was convenient to do everything online. I think the curriculum was really good, and it prepared me well for the exam. I highly recommend it, and it's a great price.
I thought it was very well put together....
I thought it was very well put together. It was a modern and very user-friendly course. Before you decide to do this online course, make sure you are aware of how it works, it is not just a click-through course. You will have to learn real estate law, which is very lengthy and will also take tests and have proctors throughout each one of them. The only thing that was a bit frustrating throughout the course was that some of the answers were incorrect. I had to reach out a couple of times because the solutions and questions were conflicting with each other, which I think they need to be on top of. The pricing was extremely fair, and I do recommend this program to anybody who wants to become a real estate agent.
More time needed
I wish they had more time for me to complete it! Other than that I had an okay experience. Make sure to focus and do your homework. If you want to advance your career and job prospects, you have to go to school and take whatever steps are necessary to improve yourself. I can't sit here and say this particular school stood out in any way, but I would tell anyone thinking about it to go to school and get more education. Regardless of what it is.

The cost was really good, and I was able to work on it at my own pace. The curriculum was well structured and was very informative. I do think that if they added live instructors, it would be a lot more helpful to its users. I'd also suggest for them to include more real-world real estate, such as looking out for what to look for in a brokerage or learning how to take care of the contract end of a transaction.

It was easy to learn as far as the curriculum, and they provided multiple test questions, which was helpful as well. If you decide to take online courses, make sure you study and pay attention to the key points in the notes. I think it would be beneficial for the users if they add more quizzes and maybe even create an app where we can access it when we are on the go.

It was convenient doing everything online. I'd suggest for users to take a lot of notes, I promise it will pay off in the end. In my opinion, Real Estate Express was good, but the only frustrating thing was that it was too long. I'd suggest for them to focus on areas we NEED to study for the national and state exam. I thought it was good overall, worth the investment.
I work full time so I had to work out a way to fit school in my schedule.
Also I am more of an audio person, so I was able to download the audio courses and listen to them in my car on my way to work. The materials were pretty clear. On the negative side, I would have liked more preparation courses and longer quizzes to make me more prepared.

I like that it was all online, straightforward, and it prepared me well for the exams. If you want to obtain your license at your own pace, this is the way to go. The only downside about this program was that I had to pay several fees for the tests, proctors, and $100 to restart the class. I thought it was a lot of money on top of what I paid initially for the course. That being said, It was a good school overall.

I really liked the convenience of being able to do everything online and that I was able to make my own schedule in the comfort of my home. If you do plan taking courses online, I'd definitely suggest staying focused, and motivating yourself to complete it. The only thing that was a bit difficult about this program was the proctoring part. It would be best if they'd assist us with this because it was very difficult and challenging. Other than that, I thought it was a great program, and I passed my exams on my first time around.

Real Estate Express was awesome. I definitely recommend it due to the flexibility for people who are currently working. The instructor was very helpful when it came to understanding what needed to be done & the content was very informative. The only improvement I’d suggest is to categorize the information for either the state or national exam. It was a bit confusing which content was which when it came to testing. All in all I do recommend due to the pricing & money back guarantee. For prospective agents I suggest it is all worth it or what I like to say is “Stay down for the come up.”

I liked Real Estate Express because I was able to work at my own pace. I suggest CAREFULLY reading the information and definitely having good time management. When you do work on a chapter, be sure to finish it; otherwise, the work you complete will not be saved. There are a few issues with the curriculum, where it was hard to understand some sections that were a bit outdated. I do think they need to keep up to date with the state real estate commission so that users are not confused when it comes to testing.

I liked that it was online so I could work on it at any time. One reason Real Estate Express was because of the percentage of users that pass the state exam on their first attempt. Sure enough, I did too.

I'm having a great experience. I like the fact of being able to do it online, because it makes things better and it was very interesting. It gave me a lot of information that I could use. I really like it. I'd encourage people who want to learn real estate to definitely enroll in it. It's a nice experience. You can send a message to your professor, and depending on what else is going on, sometimes they respond quickly. I wish I could always just talk to the instructor and get a response immediately.
very little interaction
I took the online course and it required VERY GOOD time management. As long as you can discipline yourself to allocate time to going through the course, it is easy to get through. There is very little or no interaction.

Real Estate Express test prep was good but I was told to purchase the Champions test prep because it is a lot more similar to the state exam. Surprisingly it was, the champions test prep prepared me 100% for the state exam. I couldn't have passed without it!
Long!
I did learn a lot of things, like the math, and you even just going over the basics again was refreshing. I've done real estate so I'm just getting back the license I had like 30 years ago in New york. The thing is, it's so much to learn, and it's very long. You think you're done and all of the sudden, you still have 150 pages. You have to try to remember everything you reading. I think when I actually go back to the real estate I can learn much easier, when you're in practice you learn quicker. I do recommend Real Estate Express because the Florida law and what is expected of you is made clear during the course. It's just a lot of things to remember... but when you get into real estate itself, you'll learn quicker.
This has nothing to do with actually being a realtor...
What I didn't fully understand is that many realtors say, there is getting ready for the state exam, and then there is is getting ready to be a realtor, and then there is actually doing it. So it's almost like there are three disconnected skills to study. The exam has very little to do with being a realtor or selling, and the course has very little to do with the exam. The course is necessary (because it's mandated by the state), but the exam has not covered the material I would like it to have. It's different material than what the course covers.
The reality of being a real estate agent is different than what the exam and the course cover. It has nothing to do with the school. It's like they're testing you on things you don't really need, and teaching you stuff you don't need. The actual class I took had much less to do with being a real estate agent than it has to do with the exam.
I would say the exam prep class very necessary. They did fine teaching the regular class, but you would think if you took the course you wouldn't need the prep class. You do! It is very necessary to take it for the exam. The funny thing is that the course is mandated by the state, and the exam is also mandated by the state. So the course material is set by the state, but then what you need to do to pass the exam is different. The exam is very tricky.

I like it. It was pretty much at your own pace, and the customer service would respond quickly and fix any technical issues you'd be experiencing. The program overall was inexpensive and very user friendly. I found it was easy to complete. Some advice for future agents is if you plan to take any online course, I'd suggest joining a group online on Facebook or wherever to chat with people who are taking the course at the same time as you are. It does help when you have any questions or don't understand something, and you can easily reach out and get different kinds of suggestions or opinions.

It was terrible. It seemed like they collected all kinds of information from different sources and stuck it into a PowerPoint. There were no videos or images, and it was very hard to retain any information because it was just so unorganized. When it came to the state exam, I had to do test prep from another company because I did not feel confident at all for the state exam. I'd suggest for prospective agents to look at other options. Not worth it.
Not really a fan
It was OK. It wasn't really accessible or as easy as it could have been. I wasn't that much of a fan of it so I didn't complete it.
The materials could have been easier to understand, and I could've been more confident in certain pages. It should have been easier to get a book, like, a physical, tangible, book. If you're going to enroll, dedicate as much time as possible to sitting down and trying to wrap your head around the material and take physical notes. It just wasn't worth it for me.

"I love it. I was able to go at my own pace, and it was very well outlined. One thing that they could work on would be that the text could be improved. Mainly the coloring and background (sometimes it was a bit hard to make out what the text was saying).
I do not recommend this for people who are more hands-on. If you are, you need to go to an in-person setting. If you are comfortable working on your own & going at your own pace, Real Estate Express is great. I thought the course was very well written, and I passed the exam on my first try!"

I liked the flexibility and low price. I just wished it was more interactive because it is hard to sit down and read the overloading curriculum. I would suggest if you're taking online courses to be very disciplined and do a lot of self-studying to get through it. Also, when it comes to the state exam, look at outside sources for exam prep. The exam prep was very helpful, and I passed the exam on my first try.

I did online because at the time I was going to school, so it was really convenient. You really have to be self-disciplined to complete it in a timely manner before it expires. I did pass the exam on the first try.

Real Estate Express really did help prepare myself for the state & national exam. The only adjustment I'd suggest is for them to make the content easier to find, I had a lot of trouble & I think it'll be beneficial for prospective agents. It was a very good price and helped me.
good
I love the flexibility and convenience of being able to work at my on pace and being able to work around my job schedule. I can chat with my instructors very easily and get immediate answers and assistance. I like the that you can print chapters out of the website, but i don't like how much work is involved in consuming the PDF formats. If you are looking to work on your own and are able to manage your time smartly with your studies, this is the way to go.

I liked it. It is more of a self-study course where you can go at your own speed. The hardest part was finding a proctor to take the state exam. We either had to find a library or a university. One place even mentioned they would charge $300, which I thought was ridiculous. Overall it was a good price with the discount I received due to a Mother's Day sale, and I do recommend this online program.

I really didn't like it. I did pass the exams on the first try, though, which is good, but I wouldn't recommend it to a close friend. I think that the whole curriculum was poorly structured to ask me a question they haven't covered, but then I'd see it further in the chapter. I genuinely think that they should structure it better and include things that will be on the state and national exams. I suggest looking at different options.

It was very thorough, and it prepared me well for the exams. One thing that did help a lot at the end was the flashcards they provided for the exams; they were great. One thing that I think they could improve is to make the material more entertaining, and it was a bit dry and hard to focus. I do recommend, especially because of the price and also the professors are very helpful.
Test is nothing like the course
I did the whole thing, but it turned out the courses have absolutely nothing to do with the final test. I don't understand what the point of it was. If I could do it again, I would spend all my time just studying the material for the final test.
Self-paced classes
I liked the self-paced aspect and the videos. I was a broker for few years in another state but let my license expire, so if you have a real estate experience before starting this course, it does have some weak points. But if you're a starter and you are a fast learner/quick study, it's a good course.
The best place to go
The great part about RealEstateExpress.com is that I can do it when I'm able to do it, and it doesn't have to be at a specific time. Anybody who works and is looking to further their education can go into the real estate. From what I can tell, this is the best place to go. I never had a problem...before the class, I didn't have any experience with real estate, and I was able to pick up on everything.
Great class
It's one of the best schools, and you get to do it on your own time. You have an open forum with them where you can ask other people questions about what's going on at the moment in the course. It's interactive, and gives you everything detail by detail. It's affordable, it's knowledgeable, and on top of that, it's something you can do at your own pace.
About what I expected....
All in its about what I expected from an online school. I am learning at home online. What else could you expect?
Current Student
Real Estate Express is very informational and user friendly. Even though it’s online you’re not on your own. I actually got contacted by my academic adviser proactively and found the conversation to be very helpful. One negative - You have to be a self-starter, no doubt, to do a class online. If you are driven, it will be no problem.
I enjoyed it
Enjoyed taking the class. Had never taken an online class but would do it again. I will go back for my continuing ed when I need it.
Pretty convenient
The flexibility and convenience it provided me as far as my scheduling was huge. I was able to log on and off and being able to continue where I left off. I like flashcards online, but didn't like the fact the you had to go thru the course material in order to get to the flashcards.
user friendly
The website is user friendly very easy to use. It's convenient for people with tight worked schedules. I like the fact that you can take the test as many times as you want. If you fail, no problem. Discipline yourself to study, because you are really on your own. A cell phone app would have been useful.
Too long for me
I realized it was gonna take forever for me to do it. I was working full-time in front of a computer for my job. To come home and sit in front of a computer for another 3-4 hours, I realized the online classes are not gonna work with my schedule. It would have been like having 2 full-time jobs for several weeks and I'm a mom too, so it just didn't work. The class is good, and if it would have been the only thing I was doing all day, it would have been fine. The fee for the school was reasonable.

Real Estate Express has been been fine so far. I'm taking the Georgia course. It's easy for me, but I've done real estate before so that probably gives me a leg-up.

Real Estate Express is an online school, so I could schedule at my pace. I called the support team once and they were helpful. The whole website is good, the custom experience of the website is good, and you can find everything you're looking for. I'm now just waiting to do the exam, but they keep canceling it because of the covid thing. One thing I wish I knew up front is there is an 18 days waiting period. At least in California, I think the final exam won't open until 18 days have passed since you start the course. I couldn't do the exam and had to wait. I had to dig in to find this information so they could make it more clear for people to plan accordingly.

This is possibly the worst online course I have ever taken. I recently failed my second attempt at the proctored final exam. The final exam is s joke....
