  2. Get your fingerprints taken and pass a background check.

  5. After completing steps 1-4, you will have an inactive license. Your license will become active once you find a sponsor. You can submit a sponsor request through the TREC website. Once your request is accepted, you will be able to operate as a licensed agent.
