We surveyed 3,000 pet-owning tenants nationwide to uncover some surprising statistics about pet ownership amongst renters, as illustrated in our infographic below.

Methodology: 

Online panel survey of 3,000 adults based on age, gender, and geography. Internal data sources are used to obtain population data sets. We used a two-step process to ensure representativeness through stratified sampling and post-stratification weighting.

Rental agents: When you’re working with rental real estate leads, be sure to understand the requirements of both your client and the potential landlord. Tenants are often willing to pay more for places to allow pets.
