Courses Offered
Pre-licensing
Before you can sit for the state real estate exam in North Carolina, you must complete an approved pre-licensing course. It consists of 79 hours of instruction and learning covering topics to do with real estate law, fundamentals, etc.
If you don’t know if real estate is for you, the school offers free career nights. They also have a career plan that you can freely access on their website. They also claim to have a high pass rate. And they have helped more students than any other school to become NC provisional brokers.
Post licensing education
In North Carolina, there is only one type of broker license, but it has two levels. You can be a provisional broker after completing the pre-licensing course. Now, becoming a broker-in-charge requires that you complete post-licensing education. It is a 90-hour course.
The Superior School of Real Estate offers all the core modules that are required, including Broker Responsibilities, Contracts & Closing, NC Legal Concepts, etc.
Continuing Education
CE education is mandated to help brokers keep their licenses active. They renew them every other year after paying a renewal fee and completing CE courses. For the utmost convenience, there are online CE courses you can take. The school has over ten elective courses. Learners also get to access how-to videos, webinars, and job aids (for instance, sales scripts). There are live CE classes as well.
Professional Development Courses
The real estate field is as competitive as they come. Brokers are ever searching for ways to remain at their best. The Superior School of Real Estate has responded to this need by creating a series of professional development courses that allow you to earn various certificates and designations.
One such course is the SRES®. It’s one of the many Realtor ® approved courses and helps you stay current with the housing issues specific to seniors.
Luxury Home Marketing
They have a separate institute dedicated to luxury home marketing. You can join the program to access courses that you can complete in-person, through live-stream, or online self-paced. It’s geared at helping you close more luxury home transactions.

Humorous but ill-uniformed instructor. Bill Galagher taught us a class and gave us wrong information on more than1 occasion. He has not practiced in many years and really does not know how. (if you cannot do, teach)…He did admit his mistakes when told. Learn correct information before passing on to students. There are better options available.

I chose this school because they were offering fully online training for the NC real estate license during Covid-19 quarantine and I was very pleased with the layout of the material and the quality of the teaching. SPENCER CLIFFORD made it very easy to learn and broke down every segment of every material in an easy to memorize way and made learning very fun and active. I definitely recommend this program!!

I’ve did pre licensing with Jack, CE and one post licensing with Melea and one post licensing with Vic. They were all phenomenal and I felt very confident and prepared for all exams. I have not and will not use any other school. I highly recommend Superior and these instructors in particular. I have a number of colleagues who agree. A number of colleagues who used other schools complained about the lack of quality of their education. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience.

Took the class; their books & learning material are a complete contradiction to the practice quizzes & practice tests. Someone should really go back over the books for proofreading and inaccurate information. There’s a level of professional that’s missing in some of the teachers as well...spend your money at your own risk. I would look elsewhere for a legitimate real estate course.

Everyone comes on here to give the professors amazing reviews, which they’re surely worthy of. However, I wanted to take the time to give Dawn, the executive assistant, a great review! She’s so organized, patient, and prompt. The way she’s able to do what she does, AND make it look easy, is quite outstanding. She handles A LOT! And does it with grace! Thank you for all you do!
