Gold Coast Schools is a professional school that offers career-specific programs. They equip students with practical information and prepare them for state & national exams. Once you pass these exams, you get your professional license. Gold Coast Professionals caters to more than one industry. They have construction, insurance, appraisal, mortgage origination, and real estate courses.
Their slogan is “The proof is in the results.” For once, it’s not a simple catchy tagline. Gold Coast is widely considered the premier real estate school in South Florida. Gold Coast Schools has a solid reputation. They have maintained a high level of trust by offering quality education. They have six campus locations: Boca Ration, Tamarac (Broward County), West Palm, North Miami, Doral (South Miami), and Orlando.

Gold Coast Schools Real Estate Courses
1) Classroom Courses: Can you complete hours of coursework by yourself? If not, you can get a structured approach with their in-person classes. Some of the courses offered live include:

- The 63-hour pre-licensing course: Suited for people who are looking to get a Florida real estate license, and who will be sitting for their pre-license exams. You’ll spend up to 63 hours in a classroom setting.
- The 72-hour broker licensing course: Allows a sales associate to upgrade their license to a “broker” license after two years.
- Sales associates continuing education: Agents take the 14-hour CE program to renew their licenses. The CE course also touches on business ethics and core law. Gold Coast Professionals also offers a 45-hour post-license course.
- Broker continuing education: Brokers also need CE courses. Their 14-hour CE course covers areas such as escrow management, ethics, core law, and more topics.
2) Online courses: Don’t have time for live classes? You can take the online pre-licensing course. Most of the course is text-based with short chapters. This can get a little boring, so, the school has incorporated videos, diagrams, animations, and other learning aids to help keep it interesting. The pre-license course has two packages (basic & full). With the full package, you get a textbook, access to the online exam simulator, and the chance to attend for some live classroom sessions.
3) Online Exam Prep: Many students aim to pass their real estate exams on their first attempt. On the prep course, you take simulated exams. Tests have 100 questions drawn from a database of over 1200 questions. You can simulate both state and national portions of the pre-licensing exam. If you’re weak in some areas, there are also topical practice questions.
4) Weekend CRAM: Get the classroom or full-online package, and you’ll have free access to the weekend review course. Attendance is optional. The instructor reviews key topics that recur in the main exams. You also receive the “1001 question and answer booklet” for easier revision. Students from other schools can purchase the prep course inclusive of the weekend CRAM.

For your pre-licensing course, you can complete the 63-hour course in as little as 7-days. In this accelerated program, you attend classes from 9: 00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, Monday to Sunday. Evening classes run for 5 weeks, with classes scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
It depends on whether you choose an online course or a classroom course. You pay about $300 to $550 for real estate training. But it’s best to check with the website as the pricing may change.
Florida does not publish the pass rates for schools. You can only hear about the school’s pass rates from the institution itself. Some schools will ask former students to complete surveys, but we were unable to find third party information. Gold Coast Real Estate School revealed that their students managed a pass rate of 70 to 90% for their in-house exams, administered at the end of the course.

Ease of signing up is great, however, they don't tell you that you can do your fingerprints immediately to expedite the background check. You have to concentrate and focus on contracts and legalities chapter before you take state exam.
They need to work on their communication. The instructor prepares you for their exam not necessarily the state exam. Will be on second attempt as they literally give you test questions and answers to their exam and don't guide you to the state exam.

The price is good, and it's close to where I live. I know a lot of people that have gone there. I signed up but didn't actually end up going to the physical school. Do your research and find the school that is right for you, and that makes sense for how you learn.
Nice teacher
I like the teacher. He provided the materials in a way that made it pretty easy. The classes are really helpful, the teachers go through the materials at a good pace, and if you have any questions, they will help you. They give you a lot of study material and you can access a lot of material online. The cost of the school isn't expensive, and they help you a lot. I went into the physical class. The teacher was good. It was a bit long, but you know, that's just the state requirement. It was a little bit pricey, but other than that it was fine. I think I paid about five hundred bucks. A little hefty, but other than that it was fine. Passed the test on the first try.

Haven't started yet, but very excited! Planning to attend the one in Doral. My dad is a real estate agent so I really have the passion for it. Prices seemed very reasonable considering it's way cheaper than regular college.
Self-paced and clear
I took online, so I never had to attend an in-person class. It was very self-paced, everything was clear and self-explanatory, and I had a great experience taking it online. To succeed, you have to be very committed to taking the online course. Commitment and dedication is my number one recommendation for any students thinking about this school.

I liked the flexibility in the hours and the options that they offered. The professor was very knowledgeable, and it was pretty good actually. The professor provided a lot of assistance and was very friendly. Customer service at the school was pretty good.
Great experience
I'm also a full time student, so I really liked the flexibility. I'm working on my license on my own time and at my own pace, and so far it's been a great experience. I would say that you need to be disciplined with it, and make sure you do not just put it off. If you want to get your license, you have to actually work on it and take notes, that way you can review them before the final test.

I love the teacher, she's great. If you go for the week course, just be prepared to have a fast track course. If you're not used to doing things fast or learning fast, this is not the course for you. They have all the information on their website and you can always ask your instructor questions when you get home and you need answers. It's a really good class and I enjoy it.

Took the 14 hour RE continuing Education class at Gold Coast online. The instructors Alessandro and Larry Singh were fantastic. They made the class entertaining, provided very good information & great communication. Loved their different styles and knowledge. I have always taken all my RE education at Gold Coast and highly recommend because they have excellent instructors. Thank you for a great class Alessandro and Larry. I will be back in 2 years. I took the online course and passed my test on the first try.
One thing i will tell you is that the online course will take you more than 63 hours to do if you take your time to learn it. This school has all the tools to do it.
This is how i passed my test.
I took the online course then i took the cram with Rick Suarez. Then i did all the practice tests and practice exam. Then i took my test and i did it in 1.5 hours.
My advice is do the practice test, take the cram and when you get to the exam take your time and breath. You will do fine.

I wanted to thank the team of the school of construction (Sanjeev, Gil, Wallace and the rest of the instructors) for their kindness and professionalism. I passed the 3 exams with above passing score by taking every single class online (I never missed one class). All the instructors remarks and advice about test questions are very accurate and I recommend learning (by heart) all the questions of the cram tests offered by the school. Passing the exams is not a walk in the park, but it becomes a more comfortable walk if you seriously study your books and manuals (average of 2 to 3 hours a day)!!!!
