Our research process is always evolving to keep up with industry changes, so we’re confident that when we say a provider is one of the best, it is. Once a tool, service, or real estate professional is nominated – we look at a number of factors before selecting a winner.

Finding Nominees

We only accept nominations from those who know the industry best: real estate professionals. As soon as the nominations for each category start pouring in, Agent Advice begins narrowing down the list. We look at all of the competing providers in a space or community to see how that particular nominee stacks up. We use public databases, customer referrals, and agent testimonials to collect an exhaustive list of the pros and cons of each nominee. What we look for:

Accreditations, Accolades, and Awards

We evaluate each nominees qualifications. While not every one of our winners has a shelf full of awards, we do score companies and professionals who have gone above and beyond to educate themselves in their area of expertise higher. Many agents nominated for example have received “Five Star Agent” awards, or have been recognized by their local real estate association.

Analyze Reviews

We look through reviews left on Agent Advice to determine each provider’s reputation. Every provider or professional is analyzed based on the number of reviews, their average review score, and the volatility of their ratings.

We have found that a lot of the information out there is outdated, biased, or just flat out wrong. AgentAdvice.com is here to provide you real reviews, from actual real estate agents.
