Conversion Monster Review: Prices, Features, Reviews, and Alternatives
Today we’re going to explore a leading ISA site that’s getting a lot of attention and nail down the reasons why it’s ranked as #1 by many. We want to unravel what makes it stand out from other platforms that promise to deliver leads.
We’re going to do a deep dive into Conversion Monster.
Conversion Monster was initially designed to solve issues solo real estate agents faced in lead conversion, and have expanded since. They offer 24/7 communication with leads, CRM integrations, customized scripting, and customizable plans.
We’re going to cover their top features, pros, cons, expert reviews, and more. I also have some opinions about who exactly Conversion Monster is best suited for.
Spoiler alert: overall I like the platform. From what I can tell, there is a strong system in place to deliver what they promise. However, there are a few features that may not make it the best ISA platform for you, and I want you to be aware of those before making your decision.
Quick summary of Conversion Monster
As agents we are nothing without our leads, and we know it takes effort and dedication to turn leads into clients. Conversion Monster’s mission is to make contact with all leads at the earliest possible moment, which is crucial.
They want to make sure they are in contact with all leads, and they don’t stop until they have made 76 attempts for contact within one year.
Overall, they want to make sure you are not the one chasing leads so you can focus on prioritizing your time on established clients ready to close. Here’s a few tools they have that help you do that:
- CRM & lead management tools
- Email marketing tools
- …and more
I personally love that Conversion Monster was developed by a broker who was looking for a solve to help follow up with leads as he was getting started. Let’s get started reviewing some top features that may help you solve some lead challenges you may be facing that they can help you with!
Conversion Monster features
When I’m reviewing a product I always ask myself if this would have made my life easier as a real estate agent, especially getting started… and how. In every industry, time is money, but it’s never more real than in real estate when deals get made in minutes and clients get snatched up in seconds.
As you’re deciphering the benefits of their lead conversion features with me, I suggest making a mental note of ways this could or could not improve your workflow, save you time, and maximize your client database.
CALL leads within 5 minutes
This is the most crucial element of converting leads into clients, call times. Conversion Monster has 24/7 coverage of agents responding to leads within 5 minutes of initial contact.
You can have lead generation systems set up everywhere, but if you simply don’t have the bandwidth to respond to them, let’s face it, you’re losing money.
Conversion Monster has a team responding to leads within 5 minutes before they have a chance to move on to the next agent, so at least you stand a chance at starting to build a relationship with your incoming leads.
Why it’s useful: We all know this is an extremely competitive business, and often, the early bird gets the “work”, so to speak. While you’re out showing a listing, nurturing long term clients, or out to dinner you can rest easy knowing that you’re not missing out on developing leads. Conversion Monster promises to make contact while you are top of mind, which directly leads to gaining clients.
Dedicated System for Following Up with Leads
Conversion Monster has a system to follow up with leads 17 times in the first 10 days utilizing text, email, and calls. Not only that, they will continue to attempt to make contact with leads up to 76 times in 360 days before rendering a lead cold.
As much as we’d like to be superhero agents all the time… it’s nearly impossible for one person to keep track of ALL incoming leads and then follow up more than a few times. We’d be losing valuable time with our established clients getting close to closing!
Why it’s useful: Conversion monster relies on data, and has shown that it can take at least 4 attempts to follow up before making contact with a potential client. Having a team following up for you saves you time chasing leads, ensures no lead will slip through the cracks, and helps convert.
Customized Scripting for Your Brand
Conversion Monster takes the time to get to know your brand, goals, and voice as an agency/agent. Then, they create customizable scripts to share with your ISAS to most accurately represent your brand.
They hone in on neighborhoods you specialize in, local hot spots, school districts, etc. to give your leads accurate information while staying true to your expertise.
Why it’s useful: Personalization is key in establishing trust with your clients. Having a team educated in your area at first contact helps to establish you as an authority in your locale. Your client/agent relationship will already be headed in the right direction, and is more likely to be a smooth transition.
They Pre-Qualify Your Leads
This is a big one for me. How many times have you spent hours nurturing a lead only to find that they are just dipping their toes in the market, or countless other reasons you can determine they may not be a priority client at this time?
Their ISA teams are trained professionals who take their time getting all of the information you will need from your leads before turning them over to you.
Why it’s useful: This may seem self explanatory, but getting pre-qualified leads handed to you means that you are closer to closing deals faster. Not only that, because of the customized scripts, branding, multiple follow ups… you’re even more likely to be close to the finish line by the time you’re in contact with your new client.
Conversion Monster pricing
While Conversion Monster’s pricing seems to be highly customizable, I found it difficult to find any sort of standard or basic pricing for each of their offerings.
This may not be an issue for you at all. Once you contact them, they seem to give you an accurate quote of what package will most likely suit your needs based on what CRM you use and how many leads you typically generate monthly.
They have three different base packages all of which include:
For each package there is an onboarding fee, monthly fee, and then a per lead fee. All pricing should be confirmed with Conversion Monster for the most up to date quotes. But, this is what I was able to find:
- For solo agents: The monthly fee is $195 + $5 per lead
- For teams: The monthly fee is $395
- For the premier division: add $8.95 per lead to your monthly fee
Biggest pros
I have a lot of confidence that using Conversion Monster is a good way to convert leads optimized for transaction due to the pros below. See what you think!
Quick contact times & follow up.
The biggest pro for me is knowing that they are on top of leads as soon as they come in. If people are reaching out about properties… they’re reaching out to everyone until they find the right agent to help them. Their 24/7 teams and 5 minute contact promise is huge in securing leads to nurture and convert to clients.
Trained professionals are qualifying your leads.
In the age of AI and Chatbots, having an actual human talking to your clients and helping you establish a trusted relationship is crucial in growing your long term client database.
They use customized scripts, based on your brand.
Yet another pro in helping you build your clientele. Each of your scripts is customized based on different campaigns too. For example, if there are clients you’ve lost touch with, brand new clients, clients with larger budgets you determine the language you’d like to use based on your brand.
Biggest cons
While what they offer seems pretty cut and dry in how they can benefit your business, there are a couple of points you should be aware of before deciding if their ISA team is right for you.
Maybe not great for larger teams.
While having a dedicated ISA team to help you nurture leads is ideal for all sizes of teams. You may already have an in-house lead qualifying team dedicated to getting your agents the right clients. If you are looking to expand your team, this could still help you scale and be more cost effective.
Pricing
Their pricing seems to cover all options for your needs, but it’s hard to know until you meet with them. They do have a dedicated success manager to help you with your account, which is helpful to make sure you’re selecting the right options.
Who is Conversion Monster best for?
Let’s see if you identify with one of these categories of who Conversion Monster would work best for…
Agents who want to focus more on closing.
Conversion Monster is great at teeing up leads for your success in closing. They take over the follow up and lead nurturing, which allows you to focus on closing deals for your current priority clients.
Great for solo agents just getting started
The times have changed, buyers aren’t seeking out agents. They are going to sites like Zillow, Redfin, Padmapper, etc. and it’s impossible to track and follow up with all of them to determine if they will be a viable client, especially as you’re getting started. Conversion Monster gets in touch in 5 minutes so you stay competitive with other agents.
Who’s it not good for?
While the features seem great for everyone, there may be a few folks who it doesn’t make sense for to use, right now at least.
Agents who rely on referrals.
Agents who have a specific niche area, or have been established in a particular area may not need the help of Conversion Monster. Referral based agents tend to have a long standing reputation, but as the world grows more transient still a good option to have in your back pocket.
Agents looking for overnight success.
You are getting quality clients handed to you after they have been properly vetted and are ready to make decisions. Leads can take several weeks or months to convert, which may not suit your current goals. However, if you are a career agent you will be laying down a roadmap for success in establishing a pipeline of continuous leads.
What other users say
Overall Conversion Monster is ranked high on top review sites and leading CRM sites for integrating your leads.
The industry as whole acknowledges that faster contact and repeated follow up with leads is on the rise in order to secure more promising clients.
Our review in pointing out the 5 minute call time with 17 touch points within the first 10 days is in line with other reviews as what separates Conversion Monster from the pack. I didn’t find any differing opinions on this, but that’s not to say other sites may have features more suited to your needs.
