About CA Realty Training
CA Realty Training is an online real estate school that offers real estate education primarily in California. The main differentiator? Students get to attend in-person classes taught by experienced agents. These lessons supplement the main material. It’s the school’s special advantage.
Robert Rico, a successful real estate agent, started the company along with his wife, Carolee. Rico’s background in both education and real estate made starting this school a no-brainer. The first class comprised of 7 students. And seven years later, the school boasts of over 25 locations.
What has driven that rapid expansion? “Special blend.” Earlier on, Robert & the team realized that most online schools offered a textbook education. Students were only prepared to pass exams.
CA Realty Training devised a hybrid program. Students complete the required coursework online or via textbooks. Then, they attend in-person classes (supplementary lessons) taught by experienced real estate agents.
In the live lessons, agents teach out of their experiences, share personal philosophies, and show students how the material applies in real-life situations.

CA Realty Training Courses
1) Pre-license Training: Currently, the school provides the real estate pre-license program in California only. Based on the regulations set by the California Department of Real Estate, you have to complete two mandatory courses (Real Estate Principles & Real Estate Practice). Additionally, you take on an elective course, which is usually Real Estate Finance.
2) Exam Prep & Crash Course: Before you sit for the state exams, CA Realty will ensure you’re adequately prepared. There is a 2-day weekend crash course. Their online exam prep tool is especially useful. It simulates the real test experience allowing students to practice with over 1000 questions. There are category practice tests and over 3,000 flashcards.
3) Broker’s License: The school has a Broker’s pre-licensing package. Sales associates need at least two years of experience before attempting the broker’s exam.
4) Continuing Education (CE): Sales associates going through the first renewal are offered a 45-hour package. CA Realty says you can finish the course as quickly as six days.

The cost varies with the package. At the basic tier, you get the individual pre-licensing courses at less than $100. I am trying to complete a class to apply...
I am trying to complete a class to apply for the my brokerage license. I met all the requirement for taking the final exam (18 days, completed the quizzes) but CA Realty Training portal isn't working. I have been calling for three days straight and keep being told there is nothing they can do except wait for the technical team. I would not use them again if I had the choice so many other real estate training programs out there for such a simple issue. Please fix your website and customer service. Need to solutions and how will resolve things other than I do not know.
Repetitive
It was pretty straight forward, if not repetitive. More variety would have been nice. I will be taking the real estate exam soon.

I cannot tell you how much I loved the teacher, Rico - he really cares about the students and does such a good job of conveying the information in an engaging way. Although you definitely have to put in the work to succeed, they do everything they can to help you do so.

Worst part: I felt I was mislead because Keller Williams was right next door to the school and they made me believe that I was going to get a job with them and I was only being prepared hands on.
Best part: it was convenient, had a flexible schedule, great teachers, and a friendly atmosphere. California Realty had a good learning environment. The classes were excellent with videos, graphics, pictures and hands on training. It's a good school with fast material that allows you time for work and leisure, but still a very professional school and staff. Planning to take the real estate exam in 4 months and so far feeling good.

Because now we're an online course, it has become a little bit chaotic. It used to be kind of structured and step by step. It's now online and I don't know what to do next. In-class it was good, but now I need to process what the next step will be. With Covid-19 it's an online based-school, but I prefer to finish my course in-class. I do think I will pass all the quizzes and by the end of the course will pass the test.

Started my real estate training on march 30th, Classes started April 7th online .... at first i didn't know what to expect, i was super excited but really nervous at first. but the 1st 5 mins of class (VIA ZOOM) i knew 2 things #1 I was definitely in the right career for my personality and mindset and #2 Mac Nomura was proof! we think alike and his teaching style is straight forward and clear. love having him as my instructor and future colleague!

I passed my California Real Estate exam ...
I passed my California Real Estate exam this week, first try, and in fact I finished 48 minutes early. I watched the entire video crash course twice. Ian was a terrific instructor. I did several practice tests, studied the definitions for those areas where I was weak, and also attended the live two day crash course taught by Diane Brito the weekend before I took the test. When I took the State exam I was surprised at how easy the questions were. However I credit that to the tutorial help from your website and your live crash course. And of course a LOT of hours of study. However your course made those hours of study well spent.
As a retired senior information technology executive, I commend you on your website and the ease of navigation. There are definitely a few bugs which are a bit annoying, however overall it is quite excellent.
