Many students have had positive experiences at Azure Realty School. The online course will have every bit of information you need to pass the state exam. However, you have to put extra effort to succeed on your first try.

Courses Offered
Pre-Licensing
Are you on the path to become a real estate agent? One of the requirements is taking a 63-hour state-approved course. Azure Tide provides an online version of this pre-licensing course for Florida. Not only will it cover the required topics to get your license, but it also gives you some general career guidance.
Exam prep
The secret to passing the state exam is to prepare adequately. Azure Tide’s primary exam prep tool is the pre-licensing course companion available as an e-book or physical textbook. You’ll also get exam prep videos and practice tests.
Post licensing
Before you can renew your license for the first time, you complete a post-licensing course. For sales associates, it’s a 45-hour course that equips new licensees with the necessary knowledge to navigate their new careers. It covers topics such as property management, legal, closing deals, building a successful business, and more.
Reactivation courses
If your sales associate license has expired, but you fail to renew it within 12 to 24 months, the state requires you to take an approved reactivation course. It’s a refresher course that covers the basics.
Mutual Recognition prep course
Under mutual recognition, Florida has agreed to exempt sales associates and brokers from eight states from needing pre-licensing education when they apply for licenses in the state. They only need to study Florida laws and pass the law section of the exam that includes 40 questions. This prep course is not required to take the 40 question test – but is strongly encouraged to prepare you.
These states are currently covered under mutual recognition for Florida:
- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Connecticut
- Georgia
- Illinois
- Mississippi
- Nebraska
- Rhode Island
Learning Experience
In the main portal, you see all the courses you’re currently enrolled in and the deadline to complete the course. There is a course catalog that lists all the topics, assessments, etc. The resource center is the go-to place for extra resources like exam prep videos.
Each section also comes with a timer. Remember, FREC requires students to complete 63-hours of pre-licensing education. The timer is there to ensure that you spend the minimum allotted time for each topic. You’ll encounter quizzes and tests at the end of each section—students like that they help them understand chapters in depth before moving on.
The course is presented much like a PowerPoint presentation, meaning that it’s text-based. Many students have requested audio or video versions, but they are not currently available.

You must be self-disciplined to complete this course, but in the end it's worth it. There's not any instructors, however, assistance was always available by phone for any of my questions, and received excellent customer service each time. It's a good course if you're on a fixed income like myself. Although it's a LOT of information, it's not too hard to understand. The course is easy to comprehend and follow. Overall, a great choice.
One improvement: You may consider allowing the full course to read the material. That way it will feel as though you're in front of an instructor.

Good Value. Easy to use, information is focused, no communications problems. This course is basic memorization of the facts that one needs to acquire to know the field of real estate in FL and to pass the exam. There was good testing, although I would have liked a little more.
More practice testing would have made me feel more prepared. I'd do this course again if I had to, it was so convenient to use.

The Facebook live videos were a nice touch to keep it interesting. I'll be using them for my post-license education too.
Videos were very helpful to me
The videos were good, and did a good job of explaining everything. I needed help, so I called and a guy called me right away to answer questions. Could have used more videos.
Good for the money
I did it online so it was very straightforward, I think their summary notes were actually really good. If you compare to the questions that are asked on the test, they were pretty identical. I pretty much just had to study the summary. I got it from Groupon, so it was pretty cheap, like $50.
Easy
It's online and it's easy. It's like watching YouTube videos. There is a professor, but unlike other classes, they are just doing it visually online. You really you need to be disciplined to do a class online because nobody is forcing you to go to class. But the plus side is you can take it whenever you want.
It was okay
It was alright. It was school, what can you say. I was hoping I could've had a live teacher and I didn't have that. It was just a bunch of words, so that gets kinda stressful sometimes. I need to take my next real estate class for post licensing. I don't know where I will take it, but I would really like to have a teacher. I'm a licensed insurance agent and my course was with a teacher and I passed it the first time. I think they have one teacher that you can contact....one point of contact for questions, so if you get stuck on something, you have to wait for a while. It could be the end of the next day before you hear back, so you could get stuck until you hear from someone. Maybe they could add at least chatbox with an instructor available 24 hours in case you have a question.
slides
If you like slides, you are going to love it. It's a bunch of slides. Could have had a better format. Other online classes probably have more notes and other ways of learning. There were no instructors, just slides. I did like that I could do it at my own pace. Be sure to stay active and take a lot of notes.

It's a really affordable school, but you definitely have to make sure you keep up with the material. There are quizzes and tests after each section to help you prepare for the actual test. I found it helpful to retake all of these quizzes and tests multiple times before I took the real exam.
Check the reviews first
I scheduled online school. Loved all the information, articles, and practice. Also loved the feedback from the owner and the examples given. I haven't started in real estate yet, but the situations covered helped me feel like I know what my experience will be like once I start working. Everything was very understandable and very easy.
I would suggest to first check the reviews before buying so you don't waste money. I always check the reviews, and I found very good ratings when I checked. It's really easy to pass the final exam, unless you have to buy course again. My only issue was that when I started this course, I took a break in the middle and I had to purchase it again when I wanted to attend the school again.
Didn't finish.
I didn't decide to proceed with the rest of the course because I found a different job I'm happy with. Azure Tide was kinda boring to be very honest. It was just reading, and the tests had so much law that I din't understand what it was all about. It's stuff that is hard to read and hard to memorize. If it were more interactive, people wouldn't get bored or fall asleep while reading it...

Everything was great so far, and I think it's a good school. I just think that the only thing I would comment on is the slides, I would say just a little bit less information would be more helpful. There's so much information on the slides that it becomes kinda overwhelming but that's it. Take a lot of notes!
