This is hands down the best real estate courses in Arizona (I did a lot of research before choosing). The crash course wasn't very hard at all, and you can get your license in under a month. State test wasn't bad either.

Do NOT use this school! my husband did a smaller school and they wanted him to succeed and he passed! I paid for this school and they do not care what so ever!!! On top of that with this whole covid-19 i have to pay an extra 20$ just to take a test that i should’ve been able to take for free! They only care about the money and not your success!!! Use a smaller school!!! I totalllly regret giving this school my money!!! (Also watch out for randy cooney, he offers a free real estate workshop that turns out to be just a sales presentation; super disgusting!!!)

Alex Stalkfleet

They are offering a proctor exam to replace the in-person school exam. However, ASREB is not covering the cost, so each time the exam is taken, it is $20+ dollars. Disappointed they aren't covering the cost (for at least the first exam)!

Ryan A

I just finished the 9 day licensing course through ASREB at the Scottsdale campus. Love the Scottsdale location. All the instructors were excellent, but I have to give a special shout out to Randy. He is an amazing instructor who lays everything out in an easy to understand manner. Also, GO to his workshop, it is absolutely worth it.

Tommi Pajak

I just completed the Real Estate assistant course at your Scottsdale location, and I have to say I was thoroughly pleased with the instructor Judy Houston, Judy’s teaching style is clear and concise. Her vast knowledge and professionalism are fundamental to the development of a competent Real Estate Professional. I look forward to attending additional classes instructed by Judy at the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business.

This is an unsolicited testimonial from ...

David Meek

This is an unsolicited testimonial from a very happy former student. The Arizona School of Real Estate and Business (ASREB) is the largest school of its kind in the state and one of the largest in the nation. Over 100 instructors and a blue million course options on a packed class calendar in residential and commercial real estate, appraisal, mortgage, home inspection, contracting and insurance. Classes are taught on 4+ campuses all over the state and Valley. Well organized and the school administrators host industry events which expose you to jobs after you are licensed. Take the negative reviews here with a grain of salt; sometimes people just can't pass exams and they come back here to complain on Google. This school has the respect of brokers all over Arizona and they return to get CE credits here. If you doubt the demand for the ASREB classes, just drive by their headquarters and parking garage in Old Town Scottsdale on any weekday and try to find a parking space. I have no business affiliation with this company, I only attended as a student.

Real Estate Pre-Licensing Education

One of the requirements you must fulfill before sitting for the Arizona real estate exam is completing a 90-hour pre-license program at a school approved by the Arizona Department of Real Estate. You must also pass the school exam. ASREB is approved to offer pre-licensing either online or in-class. For their classroom packages, you can access online courses to review areas you covered in class.

Real Estate Continuing Education

ASREB allows students to cover many topics that will be relevant to their practice as real estate brokers or sales associates. Some of the courses include Fair Housing, Contract Writing, Commissions Standards & Code of Ethics, Record Keeping, and more.

You’ll earn credit hours by completing CE courses. These will enable you to meet the license renewal requirements. Agents renew their licenses every two years and must complete 24-hours of CE education at approved schools.

License Upgrades

Sales associates need to complete 90 hours of broker pre-licensing education. ASREB helps you meet these requirements. Packages range from $600 to $700. The school also provides a “Broker Management Clinic”. Attendance is in-class only, with agents learning about management, business tactics, and more.

Exam Prep

Adequately preparing for the state exams pays off. ASREB leads in the provision of exam prep materials at very affordable prices. You can obtain the exam prep separately or as part of a pre-licensing package.

    • 1000 practice questions.  These are questions modeled off the state exam. It also comes with exam tips & secrets, answer breakdowns, a glossary of important terms, flashcards, and more.
    • Review Crammer. With this program, you attend up to 6-hours of lessons. The instructors review practice questions, and in the process, you learn some exam-taking techniques.
    • Exam Workshop. All the 9 chapters on your pre-licensing course are reviewed and key concepts reinforced.
    • Math Review. Math questions on your state exam are unavoidable! You must tackle them with confidence. That’s why the school provides the math review program, which is a 6-hour class. You get to learn how to solve various math problems.
    • Tutoring. In light of providing students with extra help to pass real estate exams, the school offers interactive tutoring. It seeks to address all the areas that you don’t understand.

Designations & Certifications

stockvault-thinking-about-getting-certified253909You can obtain your Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation from ASREB. Though it is just one of the many certifications you might need, it’s a step up for ASREB since many comparable schools don’t have any designations & certifications in place.

Out of State Licensing

The school can also facilitate the acquisition of real estate licenses in Arizona by agents licensed in other states. They offer a unique education package since Arizona is not a reciprocal state.

Real Estate Assistant

Real estate assistants work in brokerages across Arizona, providing crucial support to agents. ASREB has responded by creating a course that equips them with more in-demand skills.

ASREB (in-person & livestream courses) FAQs

Many students cite the teaching staff as being excellent.  Teachers have also been noted for being entertaining & available. Students also say that ASREB ensures that its school exam closely resembles the state test.

The school offers flexibility with online learning if you can’t make it for the live sessions.

You pay based on the licensing package you choose, of which, there are four. The pricing ranges from $559 to $699. Something that the school does is keep their pricing consistent for both class & online learning.

Luckily, we have data on pass rates for Arizona. Now, for the period (April 1st, 2019 to June 30th, 2019), the school had a pass rate of 72.71% for the Real Estate Salesperson (Single Exam) attempted by 884 students.
