I really like being a part of this brokerage. Besides being a nationwide brand name, They have many resources and marketing tools to help agents bring in more traffic. Being nationwide also makes it easy to transition when an agent or client moves out of state. It's definitely a good and supportive brokerage.

Worked for Coldwell Banker in Indiana. I decided to leave because I moved across the country. After some time, it was time for a change.

The brokerage itself is great. They provide great training, and everybody is always available to offer assistance. We also have access to 3 brokers that come into the office every day, and all we have to do it walk into their office. I absolutely love being apart of their family.

There is training provided every week onsite, that way, us agents can get the experience and speak to people to get a feel of everything. They also provide us phone time to get leads. Most agencies don't give you that opportunity. Our brokerage is very well known, and the best part of that is that we are able to transfer referrals out of state. Definitely a great brokerage.

I'm looking for more of a team setting. I'm kind of a one-man band (very secluded). I needed to change things up and find a way to make more money. I get 80/20 commission splits and pay $179 per month in fees.

The best part is they provided us with classes, trainings and leads. Right now, I am happy with them so I don't think there's anything I want to change. I think commission splits were fair including fees, and they provide the level of support I need.

Great company to work for

They have a great team. I just left there because of a family situation. For me, the commission split needs to be where I want it to be. They go by volume, and since I was out taking care of my brother, my volume went down.  I wasn't able to produce like I normally do. And then the commission split was lower. For me, doing real estate for 19 plus yrs, I just don't feel I should be getting a 70-30 split.

Mostly experienced agents

The best part of it, is you are being surrounded by experienced real estate agents. I wish we had more training, but I think it's the same for every company. If I could suggest an improvement, I would add more attention and training to new agents. I think the commission splits were fair. They don't provide support or leads.

Don't have any major issues

The best part is their platform. I really like their CRM. Every agency has transaction fees, and I totally understand that. I do think the commission splits were fair. They offer free internal and external trainings. They don't really provide leads unless you sit in and people call in the office while you're there. I did that for 6 months just to get started.

We're like a family

I love Coldwell Banker. I wouldn't trade it for anything. We're like a family there, and they help us with everything. They're a big company and they're great with marketing. The training is the best. I like that I can always call my broker for anything and everything, no matter what time it is.

very caring people!

This is a very caring company. I am not an active agent in this past quarter due to medical leave. However, they still find a way for me to keep up with any updates at my most convenient time to make sure I'm still on top of my game when I get back. Pay is good. You will get what you put into it.

Many education opportunies

I have been working for them for a long time, I have not experienced anything that's bad. But the good thing about working for this brokerage is that they have a lot of education opportunities to make sure you stay on top of any new rules and regulations. They also have new practices to make sure you know exactly the best way to deal with your clients. They put you in front of a lot of vendors, title companies, inspectors, just to make sure you have wide options to offer to your clients and make sure they are treated the best. With everything that they offer to me and the opportunities, I totally think that it pays for itself.

Good local reputation

The local reputation in Minneapolis is great. Everyone has good things to say about the Coldwell Banker brand.

The training given to new agents wasn't extensive. And when you are just getting started, there are so many tools it is overwhelming. I am sure the tools are more useful if you have been in real estate for years but when you are new it is just too much.

Coldwell Banker Vanguard Real Estate

The company has low morale in my Jacksonville team. There's no ability to grow. The broker takes 30% of commissions.

Raleigh office

Coldwell Banker in Raleigh wasn't a great fit for me. I am looking for a new brokerage which has great support, better resources, and better morale. I also need a higher commission split.

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty

I have been with Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty for more than a year now. For extra income, I also have to work somewhere else part-time. The leads that I am getting at Coldwell Banker are not enough to help me transition into full-time real estate.

Coldwell Banker is giving me a good deal (otherwise, I would find somewhere else to go!). If you want to go into real estate, you need to get a massive massive education on how to do business. You have to do well in sales, and also be educated when it comes to expenses.

You get what you pay for

Working for them is excellent. The training is top of the line, world-class. Regarding the pay, well, you get what you pay for. I am a part of their relocation team and I do not depend on leads.

Great brokerage

It's a great brokerage. I don't pay fees and I don't have a commission split because I'm an employee and not a contract worker. The main thing that brings agents to Coldwell Banker is the professionalism and the years of experience that the broker has.

I really loved my time with Coldwell. I achieved Coldwell Banker Bain’s International Diamond & Sterling awards, which recognizes agents with production levels in the top 5% of the company. I'd recommend it for realtors who want to succeed.

I am very passionate about real estate & I have nothing but love for the industry. I need leads and Coldwell doesn't provide any of the tools to get them. I would prefer an office which has good systems in place, great tools, resources.

I am part of a team, and get paid by the hour plus incentives and referrals. I made about $100,000 last year from selling $3 million. Commission splits on my listings were 75/25. Want to train to be a buyers agent in the high end market.

A Great Place to Work

I like the manager and the people in my office. It's a great place to work, and they provide a lot of things I need to be effective at my job.

I've only been with Coldwell Banker since 2019. I've got nothing bad to say about them overall. The negative spots are pretty typical for most brokerages, there are little to no leads provided. They need to improve their commission and fees if they want to keep the great talent they have.

They offer lots of tech support. The education for established and new agents is top-notch. My colleagues all exhibit great professionalism. The only thing I'd really suggest trying to change is the transaction fees. 70/30 split and $140/month in fees.

I'm currently working with Coldwell Banker. I disagree with the way they train agents. I wish they give much better splits. Mine is 70/30. There are insufficient leads for the number of agents who need them. They also charge you for a 1800 number.

I've been with Coldwell Banker for 2 years now. The only reason I'm considering leaving is I have to drive 40 miles each way which is a bit far. I want to find something closer. My split is 80/20 which I feel is fair.

I originally joined Coldwell Banker because of the prestige the organization has. I enjoy the hands-on training, and online training you can access 24 hours a day. The fees could always be lower. One thing they do well is teach you how to market yourself. Commission splits and fees are negotiable.

I'm was with Coldwell Banker for 7 years. My volume sold per year was over $2 million. The reason I left was that many promises were made but not fulfilled. I've been getting my own deals and it doesn't make me busy enough. There were no leads and no support.

Coldwell Banker is one of the most well known real estate companies. I feel like the tools and support given are pretty good. Put in the time and effort, and you can really have a good career here.
