Katie and her crew are amazing teachers!...

Katie Boydston

Katie and her crew are amazing teachers! There is a lot of information to learn when becoming a real estate agent and they know how to present it in an understandable and manageable way. Not only do they give you good advice on how to be a real estate agent, they really teach you how to pass the test which is tricky in its own way. I passed on my first try thanks to them!

I tried to do an online course and even though I spent way more time in it, I learned so much more from this class! Very friendly/helpful owners and staff. Also more affordable than most! Highly recommended.

About Real Estate School of Ozarks

Are you searching for the right school for pre-licensing education in Missouri? The Real Estate School of Ozarks LLC is one of the highly-rated real estate institutes in the state. They offer multiple school locations for their in-person classes. You can also pursue your course online, but they don’t necessarily provide online classes directly but through a partnership with the Global Real Estate School and Hondros Learning. Here are more facts you need to know about the school if you want to sign up with them:

Quick Facts

  • Established in 2014, the school has been operating for more than sixteen years.
  • Katie Anthony, the school’s founder and one of the instructors, has had her real estate license for 14 years and was once the Education Director for the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS.
  • Some of the school’s locations include Branson, Springfield, and Salem. However, they can offer training remotely to a large group of students who may be elsewhere in the state.
  • The school’s emblem is the male cardinal bird associated with devotion.
  • The school focuses on providing quality education and professional instructors that you cannot find elsewhere.

Courses

Salesperson pre-licensing

Hoping to become a licensed salesperson in Missouri? You must complete at least 72 clock hours of real estate courses. The pre-licensing education package consists of two individual courses:

    • 48-hour pre-exam course:  The school offers this course in-person on a variable schedule. For instance, you can choose the day classes running from Monday to Saturday for one week. If you’re currently engaged, the school offers evening and weekend classes for two weeks.
    • 24- hour practice-exam course (MREP):  You can only take this course after completing the 48-hour pre-exam course. It deals with more advanced topics than what you might have learned in the basic course, including the complex relationships between clients and customers. Students will only need one week to complete the 24-hour MREP.

*Note that you can sit for the exam before taking the 24-hour MREP course. But it’s required to apply for a license.

Sold House Showing Sale Of Real Estate

You can take the courses separately, but that would mean paying more. Resozarks has decided to combine the two courses into one package with enormous savings. The school also awards a certificate of completion.

Salesperson Exam Prep

As you prepare for the Missouri real estate licensing exam, you need to prepare adequately. One strategy is reviewing likely questions. By partnering with Kaplan Real Estate Education, Reozarks offers Kaplan’s state and national question banks.

Broker Licensing Course

Real estate agents looking to upgrade their licenses are required to have been licensed for the past 24 months. They must complete a 48-hour broker pre-licensing course. Afterward, they can take the broker exam. The real Estate School of Ozarks offers this course at an affordable rate. It runs for approximately six days from 8:30 to 5:30 p.m. daily.

Continuing Education

Once the renewal period rolls around, you can only renew your license by completing continuing education classes and earning credit points, for instance, the Code of Ethics course. The school currently allows its students to complete the CE courses using different modes of delivery, including live webinars or in-person. Other CE courses availed to agents include Negotiating, Contracts, Fair Housing Laws, Property Management, etc.

Learning Experience at Real Estate School of Ozarks

The school offers a positive learning environment with instructors striving to make their classes informative and fun. They go beyond classroom instruction and instruct students on how to become successful real estate agents. In class, questions and interactions are encouraged. The focus is also on helping you pass the exam, which may be tricky, but many students have reported passing on the first try thanks to the care given.

You will be learning mostly in class and with live webinars introduced after the shutdowns experienced after the COVID-19 health pandemic.

Why students choose Real Estate School of Ozarks

1) Excellent instructors:  You will be at the tutorage of veteran real estate agents who have had lots of experience in Missouri and understand how the market works. It’s the number one decisive advantage students share in the reviews.

2) Multiple locations and flexible class hours: You can choose the most convenient location and either attend full-day classes or evening/weekend sessions.

3) Great atmosphere: It’s as a result of the expert staff, comprehensive curriculum, and the homely atmosphere.

4) Diverse courses: If you’re searching for a school that you can stick with for the rest of your career, you won’t go wrong with the Real Estate School of Ozarks.

Real Estate School of Ozarks FAQs

First, they can improve on their refund policy to also offer refunds to students even after they have started the course. Second, students would also benefit if the school developed its own online courses with the same care and touch given to the in-person classes.

You may only need to spend just two weeks to complete the entire course and up to 3 weeks if you choose to attend some classes during evenings and weekends. The online course is self-paced and may take more or less time since it doesn’t run on a fixed schedule.

We can’t ascertain the pass rate for the school at the moment. The state has not published individual performances for the licensed providers. Students themselves have reported that many of their colleagues passed the exam. But don’t relax or choose the school solely for this reason. It would be best if you prepared since real estate exams are tough.
