It has online and in person options, but always covers what I need for renewing my license. There are a lot of options for class days and times as well.

The website is not super user friendly and they don't always offer many class options for certain required hours.

Out of all the online classes, I prefer champions by far.

Teachers are awesome and free food from RE companies is great! They have many locations in Houston and surrounding areas. Zoom classes are good. Liked it all. Teachers told good stories. Maybe explaining the Math a little better. School is nothing like Real Life in Real Estate. The questions in the workbook are exactly the questions on the test.

Champions is very professional and I truly believe that the instructors, the staff, and the owners truly want all their students to be successful in their new careers. I also appreciate that they create relationships with local brokers, and other real estate related vendors. The classes are very well organized and the prep class will definitely help you pass your exam first time around.

I liked the ability to take classes in house or online. The in house classes were my favorite. Great support from the teachers. Also, I loved seeing the vendors coming in and supporting us with lunch and an opportunity to visit with them. The staff is very supportive, kind and available. I also like that Champion offered classes at various times that could meet your schedule.

Instead of taking the exam on the second day, it is taken on the 3rd day after a short review that morning.

Champions is a great school to attend for licensing and continuing education. The materials provided are the best for exam prep. Also, it's great that an exam prep class is offered to improve your chances of passing the exam.

I enjoy the teaching style and availability of the classes. The option to take courses on the weekends is also great for my schedule.

I would love to see a class regarding title. I feel this would help me understand the closing process even better for mg clients. Additionally, I would like to see more designation and CE classes in person as well as staging classes.

Champions prepared me well for the exam and I am so grateful I chose this as my destination for my real estate education.

We had amazing energized and seasoned instructors. They really enjoyed teaching and helping us learn through real world examples and personal experiences. The times fit my schedule well.

Need even more times for classes that may fit early or late schedules. 6a for example.

I loved learning the rules and regulations through a good seasoned agent with real world experiences. That was invaluable. When it came time for the test I was really well prepared and passed on the first time.

The Instructors we're knowledgeable and friendly. Signing up for the classes was simple. I appreciate the next step directives in obtaining a real estate license. The staff on-site were friendly and extremely helpful. I was most appreciative of the online classes.

I signed up for some continuing education classes, I would like to be contacted electronically with what classes are offered and how many paid hours I have. I did call, but I am still not sure. THANK YOU!😄

You will have the opportunity to learn and attain what is needed to be successful.

I loved the fact that the instructors knew real estate first hand and enjoyed sharing their knowledge and experiences.

They could improve contracts. New real estate agents have nothing to go on when it comes to filling out the contracts and why. You do well teaching the basics for the tests but real life is a major issue. A class with hands on contracts with sceneries that would make the pupils think how and why they choose what contract and how to fill it out would be wonderful.

Don’t give up….you can do it!!!

There is so much to read and learn, it becomes overwhelming!! Champions gets to the point and let’s you know what’s the most important things to study out of the books so you’re very well prepared for test taking ....I actually tried to learn online prior to coming to champions school with another program… And it wasn’t so easy for me to learn but once I went to the classes at champions ,things made a lot more sense to me.

The teachers are very educated and experienced in real estate... and make the whole process so much easier.

The instructors were knowledgeable, patient and took the time to ensure that the class understood the material. I finished every course feeling excited at having completed another step toward my license! Champions made achieving my goal of becoming a licensed agent a reality through their informative and streamlined classes.

Some instructors were more enjoyable to sit in class with, where some made the day feel more drawn out. Personal stories regarding pertinent information to the class make it much more enjoyable and easier to understand.

Champions classes were informative, streamlined and made it so easy to pass all of the course tests in addition to the final exams!

Not only is Champions in a convenient location, they feature knowledgeable instructors and use current and up to date materials.

Scheduling options would be one area to improve. I did find it a bit of a hassle to get my last class finished as it had limited availability that didn’t mesh well with my other commitments. I did get it completely done and would still highly recommend Champions.

I passed my exam on the first try and that was largely due to my courses at champions. I do not believe the test would’ve been as easy and I would’ve not been as prepared as I was had I not gone through the courses.

Excellent instructor. Questions were answered quickly and they made sure you understood the how’s or why’s to the answers

They could offer more Live/virtual training. Next to being in classroom I felt that was the next best way to learn. For me going through a self paced read a text book didn’t help as much as having someone there to help

Ask questions and do research. Find a place to take classes .There are others out there but they didn’t compare to Champions. For the money, time, and TOP NOTCH instructors (folks who have been in the real estate business) there is no comparison.

Champions had great instructors! They made the material easy to understand and engaging. The Test Prep was the best way to get ready for the State and National exams. I felt prepared for each exam and confident in the foundation I built to enter the real estate industry.

Just keep engaging teachers! This is the key to making sure that people stay engaged. Also kick off people that are sleeping or not showing themselves.

Champions is the best place to take your courses if you want to pass your test the first time! They are organized, engaging and know how to teach the material. Worth every penny!

Convenient to my home and easy to get to. Instructors seem competent in what they do. Easy to pass.

The amount of material that is covered is too much for 2 days. It seems like the class is meant to only pass a test.

It would be cool if there was an insurance class that talked about home insurance and flood insurance.

Great Instructors and great material. I’ve attended all my real estate courses from before getting licensed to CE and renewal. I still use the text books for professional reference.

Cost of courses is a bit overpriced I feel. I’ve done some comparison with other schools.

Highly recommended if you are not short on cash. The value against price is worth it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the instructors and feel they are there to help you succeed. They are so knowledgeable and make the classes interesting. Whether you take the classes in person or online you get the same great training.

When you call to inquire about the classes the person on the phone is so helpful but it seems like once your money is received they are less than helpful and can be rude when they check you In for class.

Also it would me nice to not have so many of us in each classroom.

Lastly the bathrooms are disgusting!

I would highly recommend Champions for anyone wishing to get a real estate license.

I like that Champions has multiple methods of learning. I used 4 different t delivery methods to earn my certification: weekend class in person, weeknight class in person, live online and correspondence.

I think it would be great to bring in more agent experience and do a bit more than simply teaching to the rest. Agent / Broker panels, etc.

The certification is just the first step in becoming a realtor. Spend time learning from people who have been successful for a long time and don’t forget that this is a serious business - be professional.

I like the experienced instructors who know the business, and are interested in the success of new agents. I took all my real estate classes in person, passed my test the first time and took the Brokers’ Prep class and passed my Brokers’ test, easily. I take my Continuing Education online, through Champions, and highly recommend Champions. You may find cheaper classes, but you won’t find them to be the quality of Champions.

Open a school in Grayson County, continue to provide classes that follow the trends.

Champion is thorough! After taking courses at Champion I felt knowledgeable in the subject courses. There was no instructor I did not like. I felt confident that I could pass the exams after my courses at Champion. I passed my exams on the first try. I will always encourage others to take courses at Champion.

I loved the clarity and cohesion of the learning course. The way the curriculum was presented was very similar to the phrasing and highlighted concepts on the state and National exam. I felt very prepared for my exam and was able to cruise through and get a passing score because of my confidence and preparedness.

I utilized the online course and although I loved having the added resource of the video instruction, the videos really only read the book to me. I would have like for the videos to extend or clarify my knowledge of important content. It was just not engaging and I don’t feel like it actually added anything to the course.

Overall, it was a great course that I would highly recommend. The exam prep book was an incredibly useful tool. I would recommend this course to any aspiring agent!

I think a little more of the organization of the books. I think they were going through a change of editions and some people still had old copies and some people didn’t have books at all.

Where do I begin!? Champions has awesome instructors, all the different options that accommodate all people, to-the-point classes, fun environment, amazing staff, coffee (lol), the opportunity to hear from different brokerages whilst in class, and so much more! I recommend Champions School of Real Estate to any and everyone!!

If I had to say anything they could improve on, I’d say to audit the way the instructors teach because I had one that wasted a lot of time in class and didn’t get straight to the point until the day before the test and it was pretty stressful.

My biggest advice to other agents is to take all of your classes back to back if you can and don’t wait more than 1-2 weeks to take prep and the final exam! Also, if you have the ability to go in person, I highly suggest to do it that way.

You were able to work at your own pace and schedule your exams when it was convenient for you at Champions. You could go through as many lessons as you wanted to and still be able to hear it again if need be. The same for the practice exams to prepare you for the National and State exams.

Maybe explain a little better on how to zoom. I wasn’t very computer literate. Also the instructors weren’t always on the same page.

I like that I could take all of the course online during Covid. I also liked that I was able to spread it out over the course of a year as my life changes and I had to stop for a bit but I picked it back up a few months later. I also liked that I was able to test online with a proctor or was able to go into any school to take a test depending on what city I was in. I felt like I was able to ask questions and get clarification on anything on the phone, by text, email or in person!
Most of all the classes were very thorough and supplied me with all of the information I needed to pass the test on the first try.

Some of the books and page numbers were different than what the online instructor was following. I think the videos are somewhat older and could use some updating.

I feel knowledgeable in real estate and have been hired by a Broker and feel like I know what I am doing most of the time.

Champions was my first choice and I’m so happy I did all the courses and exam prep with them. The teachers are so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Their LIVE classes online are like being there in person. They always made time for questions and gave lots of real life scenarios of what we learned in the book to really help all the information stick. I took the Exam prep 3 times (you can take it unlimited time after purchasing the class), and I passed both tests my first time.

Honestly it was a little bit more pricier than some of the other real estate school options but you get what you pay for and I think I got the best.

I'm more of a person that has to be in-class. I had to do one section online and I didn't like it at all. I don't consider it bad overall, but I’d rather do in class than online.

Make sure to prepare before going in

It was pretty easy. It all went fast though. I completed the school, I just need to take the national and state exam. I haven't submitted my documents yet. Just need to study a little bit more and then I'll submit it whenever I'm confident with everything. With the coronavirus and everything I can't go to take it. I would try to get some background information about real estate before you go into the class so that way you're not completely lost and you have some idea of what is going on. I was so lost at the beginning with all these new terms and lingo and stuff.

I think they're doing great. I'm taking the online classes and the staff is very professional. Things I enjoyed were the teachers, the courses, and the structure. They are very open to all questions. I took the prep class online which was very convenient. I'm very happy with it, and think it's one of the best schools.

I'm taking classes right now, and currently finishing my prep class. They're providing good education and I understand what they're teaching. When I don't understand, I just ask them and they answer. I think they are the best right now.

Was worth the investment

Worth the investment. They provided enough information to make me feel prepared and get my license. I was able to use their website or go to the actual campus, which I loved. I disliked the long days, but in the end it was well worth the sacrifice. Champions' online courses are as good as the actual school campus.

There's a lot of help here - there is always someone available. It's a good experience. I actually took one that was in person in Oklahoma several years ago where I actually went to class, but now they have a lot of different online options. Champions School of Real Estate has been around a long time so you know they aren't going anywhere.

On-Campus

The teachers were excellent, and provided much valuable information and insight into the industry. I considered this worth the major time investment. Great guest speakers came to give us a heads up on the industry, and new ways to do things. I found my experience very rewarding. No major complaints from me. I do recommend the school campus option rather than taking online classes - you just acquire more knowledge hands on and face to face.

It was the best. I actually had taken the courses with another company but came to Champions because I heard they were the best. They really helped me prepare for the state exam, and the test prep was pretty much the same as the exams. They even offer test prep classes that are four days long, which helped even more. I'd definitely recommend it because if it weren't for Champions, I don't think I would've passed.

I thought it was really good. Champions has quality information for the exams. They usually get their test prep questions from previous years, which really does give a great idea as to what will be on the exams. I definitely recommend it, it's great quality.

Professional staff

My team was very professional. Good guidance from my counselor. In fact, everyone I spoke with was very helpful. They give you all the tools you need to succeed. The classes can be long, so have patience. Before taking the test, make sure to study as much as you can, and download all the course test material from the website. Still waiting on the state to issue my license.

It was perfect. Make sure you choose the materials carefully. Most of the questions from the state test were not all in the book. Also, not everything in the materials of the Champions book is needed for the test. I paid extra money for test prep and I am glad I did. You might wanna go over the old tests to review for the final test.

Champion

The teachers were great and the information taught felt like it was was always up to date. I liked like the fact that classes fit with my work schedule. Like the name implies, they are the best. It's all up to you how much time and effort you put in your studies. I did both online and on campus.

Convenient

I have a full time job, so this works out great for me. I am able to log on at my own convenience. Good program for people with full time jobs and limited time to study. Try to go to classes if you go with Champions -- you will do yourself a disservice if you go online only. Would have been nice to have more audio visual information.

Lots of interaction

There was a lot of interaction. You get to meet people that are professionals and have been in the business for a long time and know what they are talking about. It gave me the opportunity of convenient and flexible scheduling and managing my time more wisely for work, family and leisure. Once you get your license for real estate you will gain financial freedom, a flexible schedule, and the fulfillment of knowing you're helping families own their own homes. Few careers can offer this. At this point, I have no complaints, and I plan on going forward and finishing school this month.

Morning classes were great

At Champions, the classes are taught at a fast pace. It's very thorough, but you are able to grab and retain all the information. I'm glad I went to a physical school, because you learn a lot better than you would online. Enjoyed the morning classes that would start at 10 am.

Really enjoyed Champions. I didn't end up finishing because I got super busy, but I do plan to go back and do the testing. I'm also full time employed so I need to go back and do the night classes for test prep. My cousin does real estate and kind of got me going that way. I primarily wanted to get my license for my fiancé and I to do our own investing. I had a great experience, and really loved about it was in-person class.

I could not do this without Champion's! I am a single mother and I need to take care of my children, and I also work. In my spare time I can find the time to jump on my computer and study. The courses prepared me well for the test. Some people have a hard time finding the time, but if I can do it, anyone can. Plan to finish in about 3 months.

fast paced

I like the fast pace of the courses, and that you can finish in three weeks. The courses provide a detailed explanation of real estate definitions and concepts in such a short time. It would be helpful if there were more guidance toward the end of the course in who to go work with. Be like a sponge and absorb everything. Take prep courses as many times as necessary to prepare you for the state exam.

Champions School of Real Estate FAQs

Champions School of Real Estate online courses include the basic licensing course, sales agent apprenticeship, continuing education, and broker courses.

Their live delivery helps students combine the best benefits of online learning with the perks of in-person classes. Students only require webcams and mics to participate.

Experienced instructors.  Most teachers have at least five years of experience in their teaching specialties.

Delivery modes range from a blended classroom to online correspondence.

They offer career counseling in-person at their campus, via live chat, or by speaking to instructors on the phone. You can also attend free career nights held each month.

Champions is widely regarded as the leader in Texas real estate education. Lots of positive things have been said about Champions, including flexible class hours, good teachers, and helpful staff.  Former students highly recommend the school.

The biggest drawbacks:

Some people think their courses are expensive relative to other institutions – especially online alternatives.

They don’t provide payment plans that would allow students to manage tuition costs – which some other courses do.

The programs are limited to a few states. Currently, you can only take the pre-licensing course in Texas. And CE courses are available in Oklahoma & Florida.

Your total costs will depend on the tier you choose. For instance, you’ll pay $1600+ for the 11-course program that’s entirely taught in-person at their campuses.

The cheapest option is the 6-course license program and features Blended Classroom as one of the delivery modes. It means that you can complete part of the course work in class and the other at home.

There are 180 mandatory hours students must complete before sitting for state exams. Generally, you might take four months to 6 months, depending on your speed and selected mode of learning. With the self-paced online course option, you may be able to finish in just 3 weeks – but this would require putting in 12 hour days.
